It means reaching a point where those memories no longer have the same emotional hold over you.

These experiences are often more connected than people realise. What the body holds onto can show up in many different ways, from anxiety and fatigue to pain, overwhelm, or feeling constantly on edge.

You are not broken. Your body and mind have been doing their best to protect you.

With the right support, it is possible to gently reduce those patterns and feel more calm, safe, and in control again.
