We had the pleasure of welcoming visitors from the Department of Health and Social Care to Ashfield Nursing Home today.

It was a great opportunity to show them around our home, introduce them to some of our wonderful residents and team members, and share what makes Ashfield such a special place to live and work.

As a family-owned nursing home, we’re incredibly proud of the care, compassion and dedication shown by our team every day. So it was great to talk about the positive impact that adult social care has on people’s lives and to give our guests a REAL insight into life at Ashfield.

A big thank you to the Department of Health and Social Care team for taking the time to visit us. We always welcome opportunities to showcase the amazing work our staff do and the warm, supportive environment our residents call home. 💙

We had a very pleasant surprise Wednesday afternoon, C.H. (daughter to a resident) came into Ashfield and brought a wicker basket FULL of chocolate bars in as a massive thank you for everyone 🤤. She could not praise our team enough for the love, kindness and care shown her Mother during her previous and latest stay with us. Well done Team 🤝

We dropped into the Wetherby's Community Cafe and Advice Hub this morning down at St Jame's Church Room.

Got to speaking with 🍏 Wetherby and District Foodbank about how we can help with their cause, caught up with 🤝 Cllr Connor Mulhall - Mayor of Wetherby who is hopefully going to swing by to our Summer Fayre (Aug 15th) and also met with 🌾 Living Potential Care Farming CIC, hopefully we can arrange a visit to their farm soon!
