URGENT REQUEST FOR COMMUNITY SUPPORT THIS SUMMER!
Could you spare a couple of hours to help us?

To help ensure we keep our warehouse well-stocked and can continue supporting people throughout the summer, we have been given the opportunity to hold food drives at two local supermarkets:

• Morrisons, Horsefair, Wetherby – Thursday 9th to Saturday 11th July
• Tesco Clifton Moor – Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th July

If you could spare a couple of hours to help, either handing out our Wish Lists of most-needed items or helping sort donations, please get in touch.

These events are vital in helping us collect enough food to support local people during the school holidays.

The sweepstake is complete… and the excitement is building!

Residents and team members have been picking their World Cup teams and sharing their predictions ahead of the next round of matches. 🏆

There were plenty of smiles, a few lucky draws, and lots of friendly competition along the way!

A special mention goes to our Registered Manager, Jodie, who drew England just in time for tonight’s game. ⚽️🤞

We had the pleasure of welcoming visitors from the Department of Health and Social Care to Ashfield Nursing Home today.

It was a great opportunity to show them around our home, introduce them to some of our wonderful residents and team members, and share what makes Ashfield such a special place to live and work.

As a family-owned nursing home, we’re incredibly proud of the care, compassion and dedication shown by our team every day. So it was great to talk about the positive impact that adult social care has on people’s lives and to give our guests a REAL insight into life at Ashfield.

A big thank you to the Department of Health and Social Care team for taking the time to visit us. We always welcome opportunities to showcase the amazing work our staff do and the warm, supportive environment our residents call home. 💙

We had a very pleasant surprise Wednesday afternoon, C.H. (daughter to a resident) came into Ashfield and brought a wicker basket FULL of chocolate bars in as a massive thank you for everyone 🤤. She could not praise our team enough for the love, kindness and care shown her Mother during her previous and latest stay with us. Well done Team 🤝
