Carers Week 2026 - Takes place between Monday the 8th and Friday the 12th June.
The theme for Carers Week 2026 is "Carer Friendly Communities", recognising the role that local organisations, services, and community groups play in supporting unpaid carers.
Here at Hope Haven, we are committed to providing a welcoming space where unpaid carers can access support, information, and opportunities to improve their wellbeing.
As part of Carers Week, we are offering the following activities and opportunities for unpaid carers:
Monday 8th June between 2pm – 4pm
Join us for an introduction to our iCan wellbeing and fitness activities, including:
- Ikigai
- Chair-based exercises
- Bellicon
Tuesday 9th June between 1pm – 3pm
People First will be joining us to share information about Carers Assessments and support and services.
Thursday 11th June between 2pm – 4pm
Introduction to the Family & Friends Hub Drop In. Come along to learn more about the Family & Friends Hub.
The Family & Friends Hub supports family members and friends who provide unpaid care. Through the group, carers can access practical advice, learn new skills, and find useful resources to help you in your caring role.
🩺Cumbria Health will also be with us offering General health checks and follow-up appointments where required from 2pm – 4pm.
