🎨🖼️ Southampton Art Gallery Adventure! 🚆

Today our members enjoyed a fantastic day out to Southampton City Art Gallery, travelling together by train and exploring an amazing collection of artwork.

From discovering famous paintings and fascinating exhibitions to relaxing in the interactive spaces, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The trip was a great opportunity to learn something new, spend time with friends and build confidence travelling together.

🌤️ What a fantastic day for cricket! 🏏

Today our members enjoyed another brilliant Cricket session with St Cross Symondians CC, making the most of the glorious sunshine while learning new skills, building confidence and, most importantly, having fun together.

From batting and bowling to cheering each other on from the sidelines, there were smiles all round. It's always fantastic to see everyone encouraging one another, celebrating great shots and enjoying being active outdoors.

We can't wait to do it all again next week! 🏏

📬 Out delivering the latest edition of Wi******er Magazine!

Well done to Chloe, Charlie and Luke who were out in the sunshine delivering magazines across the local community. 🚶

Not only are they helping local businesses and residents stay connected, they're also building confidence, getting active and making a real contribution to their community.

Inclusive Cricket at St Cross Symondians CC 🏏

Our members had a fantastic time enjoying an inclusive cricket session at St Cross Symondians Cricket Club today.

From batting and bowling to fielding and catching, everyone got involved, learned new skills and, most importantly, had lots of fun! It was wonderful to see so much encouragement, teamwork and confidence growing throughout the afternoon.

Thank you to everyone at St Cross Symondians Cricket Club for making us feel so welcome, and to the fantastic coaches and volunteers who gave up their time to make the session so enjoyable. We really appreciate your support in making cricket accessible and inclusive for everyone.

We can't wait to come back next week!

🌊Go Explore: Southsea Adventure! 🦋⛳

Our members had a brilliant day out in Southsea, packed with fun, and laughter!

The day included a visit to the museum and butterfly house, where everyone was amazed by the incredible displays – and one lucky member even had a beautiful butterfly land on their hat! 🦋 We also enjoyed a round of crazy golf⛳, a walk along the seafront, some time in the arcade 🕹️ and, of course, finished the day with a well-earned ice cream🍦

Go Explore is all about getting out into the community, discovering new places, building confidence and creating lasting friendships. Days like these give our members the opportunity to try new experiences, travel together and make memories they'll be talking about for a long time.

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers for making another fantastic trip possible 😊

☀️🌊 Go Explore: Bournemouth Beach! 🏖️🚆

Our latest Go Explore🗺️adventure saw our members travel by train from Wi******er to Bournemouth for a fantastic day by the sea!

Travelling by train gave everyone the opportunity to build confidence using public transport, practise their independence and experience a journey many wouldn't normally make on their own.

Once we arrived, the fun began! Members enjoyed paddling in the sea, relaxing on the beach, exploring the pier, playing in the arcade, tucking into fish and chips, and finishing the day with a well-earned ice cream. 😎🍦

Go Explore is all about discovering new places, trying new experiences and building the confidence to access the community independently. Every trip helps develop life skills, strengthen friendships and create lasting memories in a safe and supportive environment.
