With the recent heatwave, we've been finding the tastiest ways to stay cool here at Wulfrun Rose! 🌞💛

Our residents have been enjoying refreshing fruit drinks, juicy fresh fruit, and delicious ice lollies while relaxing together and making the most of the sunshine. 🍓🍊🍍🧃🍦

It's been wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter, and everyone keeping hydrated while enjoying some well-deserved summer treats. Here's to making happy memories and staying safe in the warm weather!

It was a fantastic day filled with smiles, laughter, music, delicious treats, and a real sense of community. Seeing our residents, families, friends, and visitors come together to enjoy the celebrations made the day truly memorable.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff for all their hard work and dedication in making the event such a success. Thank you also to our amazing residents, relatives, members of our local community, and all of our fantastic stall holders for your support, generosity, and enthusiasm.

Events like these remind us how important it is to create meaningful memories and bring people together. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did, and we can't wait to do it all again!

🌸 Blooming Creativity at Wulfrun Rose 🌸

Our Flower Arranging Club was in full bloom today at Wulfrun Rose! 🌼💐

Residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon creating beautiful floral arrangements, sharing stories, and expressing their creativity. Activities like these not only brighten our home with colourful displays but also encourage conversation, relaxation, and a wonderful sense of achievement.

It was lovely to see so many smiles as everyone proudly showcased their unique creations. 🌷✨

Well done to all our talented residents—we can't wait for our next flower arranging session! 💖

🌟 Meet the Team – Jeanette, Deputy Manager 🌟

Meet Jeanette, our wonderful Deputy Manager at Wulfrun Rose. 💜

Jeanette graduated Cum Laude from San Pedro College in 2007 and became a registered nurse the same year. After working as a Community Nurse from 2015–2022, she moved to the UK and joined Wulfrun Rose as a nurse before becoming Deputy Manager in February 2025.

Jeanette is passionate about ensuring every resident is happy, safe, respected, and receives the highest quality of person-centred care. She also loves supporting and empowering her team to be their very best.

A few fun facts about Jeanette:
🌸 She loves pastel colours, especially pink.
🌿 Enjoys nature, history, castles, and travelling with her family.
🏖️ Her perfect getaway is a beach holiday.
🦈 She’s adventurous and has even swum with sharks!
🎶 She loves music and singing (even if she jokes others don’t!).
🐶 Dog lover… but definitely not a fan of snakes! 🐍

✨ Meet Our Residents: Jeff & Joyce ❤️

Meet Jeff and Joyce, who are proud to call Wulfrun Rose home.

Jeff and Joyce first met through mutual friends, and their very first date was at the Picture House cinema on Stafford Road in Dunstall.

Both originally from Pendeford, they’ve built a wonderful life together by always supporting one another. As Jeff says, “We’ve always shared everything—we’ve always been one big team.”

Jeff worked as a machine tool setter, while Joyce worked in the office at Bolton & Paul’s.

This year, they celebrate an incredible 57 years of marriage. Their secret to a long and happy marriage?

💙 Trust each other, share everything, and always be a team.

Over the years, they’ve enjoyed travelling together, with Austria holding a special place in their hearts as their favourite country to visit.

Today, Jeff and Joyce continue their journey together as residents at Wulfrun Rose, where they’re part of our wonderful community. Thank you both for sharing your inspiring story with us—we’re so proud to have you as part of the Wulfrun Rose family. ❤️

👩‍🍳 Meet Our Head Chef – Sharon! 👩‍🍳

It's time to introduce another valued member of the Wulfrun Rose family our wonderful Head Chef, Sharon!

Sharon has been part of the Wulfrun Rose team for 2 years, and one of the things she enjoys most is seeing the smiles on our residents' faces as they enjoy the meals she lovingly prepares. She believes that great food brings people together and plays an important role in creating comfort, happiness, and special moments every day.

Outside of work, Sharon is a proud mum to 3 children and loves spending quality time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoys going on holidays and making treasured memories with her loved ones.

Thank you, Sharon, for your hard work, dedication, and the care you put into every meal. We are so lucky to have you as part of the Wulfrun Rose family! 💙🍽️
