We have flu vaccine appointments available to eligible patients aged 18 to 64 - please call reception on 01946 830 207 to book an appointment.

Those eligible include:
*Those with conditions that affect your breathing, such as asthma (needing a steroid inhaler or tablets), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or cystic fibrosis
*Heart conditions, such as coronary heart disease or heart failure
chronic kidney disease
*Liver disease, such as cirrhosis or hepatitis
some conditions that affect your brain or nerves, such as *Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis or cerebral palsy
*Diabetes or Addison's disease
*A weakened immune system due to a condition such as HIV or AIDS, or due to a treatment such as chemotherapy or steroid medicine
*Problems with your spleen, such as sickle cell disease, or if you've had your spleen removed
*A learning disability
*Being very overweight – a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or above

ROAD CLOSURE - HINNINGS ROAD

For awareness we have been advised by Cumberland Council that there will be patching and re-surfacing works on Hinnings Road from Tuesday 1st September for 14 days and a road closure will be in place from 08:00am - 18:00pm.

Traffic marshals will be onsite throughout the works.

Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

We are having works carried out on our main entrance doors this morning so this area will be cordoned off - please enter and exit the surgery via the fire door located on the staff car park.

If you are arriving to collect a prescription the hatch has been temporarily moved to the consulting room directly opposite the fire door - a member of staff will be there available to help.
