Sun Awareness Week (11th-17th May) is a great reminder to protect your skin and stay safe in the sun ☀️

Spending time outdoors is important for our wellbeing, but too much sun exposure can increase your risk of skin damage and skin cancer. Simple steps can make a big difference:
• Use sunscreen and reapply regularly
• Seek shade during peak hours (11am–3pm)
• Wear a hat, sunglasses, and protective clothing

If you notice any new or changing moles or skin changes, don’t ignore them—get in touch with our GP team for advice.

🚧 Road Closure Notice – Dunnington Surgery Access 🚧

Please be aware that the junction at Petercroft Lane is due to be closed next Wednesday and possibly Thursday while works are carried out by York Council.

We have been advised that there will still be access available for patients travelling to Dunnington Surgery during this time.

Please allow extra time for your journey and follow any diversion signage in place.
