💙 "I was told I might never become a mother. Today, we have three children."
A real story from one of our Pelargos families — in her own words. 👇

"Our IVF Story:
In my twenties, I was diagnosed with PCOS and was told that getting pregnant would likely be difficult. Deep down, I feared that becoming a mother might never happen for me.
We started trying naturally, but month after month ended with another negative pregnancy test. We then tried three IUIs in our home country. All three failed.
After years of disappointment, we turned to IVF, and that decision led us to Pelargos IVF in Greece. It was very easy to communicate with Dr. Karpouzis, who helped and guided us remotely until we travelled to Greece.
Our journey began with egg collection. 33 eggs were retrieved, and 16 became embryos. 16 tiny chances at the family we had dreamt of.
For our first transfer, we transferred two embryos. Both were unsuccessful.
For our second transfer, under the care of Dr. Harry, we transferred another two embryos. One implanted successfully and gave us our beautiful daughter, our first live birth. The other was lost very early, so that moment brought both happiness and heartbreak.
Two years later, we returned to Pelargos for our third transfer. This time, Elisavet guided us through the process. We transferred another two embryos, and both implanted successfully.
Those two embryos became our twins, a boy and a girl. 👶👶
Looking back, I am deeply grateful to Pelargos, Dr. Harry and Elisavet. They gave us hope when we felt hopeless, and helped us become parents when it once felt impossible.
Our story is one of fear, heartbreak, perseverance and miracles.
To anyone going through infertility, please do not lose hope. There were many times when I thought motherhood would never happen for me.
Today, we are blessed with three children, all thanks to the courage to keep going and the incredible support of Pelargos. 💙"
