We the family of the late Jim Sheerin would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.

We would like to thank our family and friends for the endless help and support at wake and funeral. Your kindness & generosity will always be remembered.

A special thanks to our relatives and friends who far to offer their condolences and to help in any way.

We would like to thank all the staff at letterkenny University Hospital, the Oncology Team, the Community Palliative Care Team, Dr Meta Mc Laughlin and Dr Mulhern for all their care.

We would like to acknowledge Fr Philip Kemmy for the support he gave us and thank him for the beautiful requim funeral mass.
We would like to thank Claire and Brian for the beautiful music.

It is really impossible to thank everyone individually as there was so many people. Ur kindness has not gone unnoticed.

A heartfelt thanks to Shaun and team @ inishowen Funeral Service. You were with us from start to finish and we will never forget it.

We the family of the late Paddy Mc Grory would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathized with us on our recent bereavement. We were deeply overwhelmed by the kindness, support, and compassion shown to us.

Thank you to everyone who attended the wake and funeral mass. To everyone who sent mass cards, sympathy cards and messages, your support and kindness has not gone unnoticed.

Thank you also to all who brought food, home baking helped with the refreshments during the wake.

A special thank you to all the nurses and carers who cared for Paddy at home and for all the kindness and support they showed to both him and us over the last number of years.

Thank you to Inishowen Funeral Services for the professional and dignified way in which they managed the funeral arrangements and gave Paddy a beautiful final farewell, their professionalism was much appreciated.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Baker and Fr. Bradley for their guidance, care, and spiritual support. We are especially grateful for the beautiful Funeral Mass celebrating Paddy’s life, thanks to all those who participated in the ceremony.

Sincere thanks to Laura Whoriskey for the beautiful eulogy and also to Roisin Harkin and Seamus Doherty for the beautiful music.

As it is impossible to truly thank everyone, please take this acknowledgment as a token of our appreciation.

Acknowledgement and Month’s Mind for Liam Grant

The family of the late Liam Grant wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement.

We would also like to express our sincere thanks to the first responders, paramedics,
the Gardai and Father Baker for attending to Liam and for everything they did for him.

We were completely overwhelmed by the kindness and support shown to us during
Liam’s wake and funeral. Our heartfelt thanks go to all the kind relatives, neighbours,
and friends who travelled from near and far to offer their condolences and to help in
any way. Your kindness and generosity will always be remembered.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages,
and online condolences. Your thoughtfulness and generosity is greatly appreciated.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Baker, Fr Bradley and all the priests who helped
celebrate Liam’s beautiful Requiem Mass and to Joanne O’Donnell and Finbar for the wonderful music.

A sincere thank you to Shaun Murphy and everyone at Inishowen Funeral Services

Unexpectedly on Tuesday 25th August 2026

Predeceased by her loving husband John (2nd May 2026) and by her brother Peadar

Mary will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughter Carmel, son Sean, son-in-law Liam, daughter-in-law Linda, her sister Bridie, by her cherished grandchildren Luke, Sarah, Harry, Robyn and Kate, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, wonderful neighbours and many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at her home at the Quay, Westport (F28 WN59) on Friday afternoon 28th August from 3pm with removal at 5pm to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Inch Island, Co. Donegal for Vigil prayers at 9pm.
Funeral Mass for Mary will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday morning with burial afterwards in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Inch Island, Donegal (F93 KW58)

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Rosaleen Craig nee McGahern, Baylett, Inch Island and formerly Cootehall, Co. Roscommon and Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim.

Deeply mourned and will be forever missed by her loving daughters Gabrielle, Ann and Helen, sister Dympna, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her loving husband James, sisters Margaret, Monica and her twin sister Breege and brothers Sean and Frankie.

Rosaleen's remains will be reposing at Murphy's Funeral Home, Tooban, Burnfoot F93PW96 on Friday afternoon, 21st August from 3.00pm to 6.00pm.
Wake is for family, friends and neighbours only.

Removal on Saturday morning, 22nd August at 10.15am travelling via her late home at Baylett to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Inch Island for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.
