This week we hosted an offsite planning meeting for one company and a staff wellbeing day for a second. Now taking bookings for Autumn/Winter 2026 and Spring 2027. Rates from €50. Proceeds from rental income enables us to provide Wellness Days for over 40 local charities who support people facing life challenges .galway

June is Family Carers Ireland Month and June 11th is 'Heart of Gold Day', their flagship fundraising and awareness event. Carers do incredible work across the land, day in and day out. We look forward to welcoming many carers to the Sanctuary during June - a well deserved opportunity for them to relax and recharge, a moment for us to recognise the great work they do.

Our thoughts are with the family of Liam Bluett who sadly passed away yesterday. Liam previously served as CEO of SCCUL Enterprises. He helped create the SCCUL Sanctuary in 2012 with his vision for a place of support, hope and inspiration, as he deeply cared for people. Liam's legacy and spirit will live on at the Sanctuary.

As a mark of respect, the SCCUL Sanctuary will be closed this Thursday, May 21st.
