It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of
Ann Phelan née Moore, Rathmore Road, Stradbally Co. Laois and formally of Kyle, Portlaoise.
August 25th 2026

Our beloved mother Ann died peacefully following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family and in the professional care of the staff at Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Predeceased and now reunited with her beloved husband Denis, siblings and her parents John and Alice.
Ann, a loving mother, grandmother and sister, will be sadly missed and forever loved by her devoted family: Sylvester (Catherine), Josephine (Peter), John (Louise), Ailish (Jim), Donnacha, Sinéad (Mick) and James (Katie) and her grandchildren; Vivienne, Annabel, Alice, Rachel and Daniel. She will also be sadly missed by her sister Brigid (Burke), her many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest In Peace

Ann will repose at her daughter Sinéads residence(R32 VNW0) Ard na Gréine, Cork Road, Stradbally on Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm with the recital of the rosary at 7pm. Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Thursday at 1:30pm to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church Stradbally (R32 WRH9) for 2pm Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.

Liam Hogan
Ballintogher, Ballybrittas, Laois
August 25th 2026

Liam passed away peacefully in the company of his loving family in St. Vincent's Hospital Dublin. Predeceased by his grandfather Liam and his brother Darren. Greatly missed by his heartbroken parents, Michael and Mary, his brother Brian and sister Rebecca, grandparents Christy and Kathleen O'Connor, his grandmother Josephine Hogan, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, colleagues, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Liam Rest In Peace

Liam will be reposing at his residence (R32 W296) on Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm, concluding with rosary at 8pm on both days.

Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Friday at 11:15am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church Rath (R32 FN44) for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in the New Cemetery Emo.

House Private on Friday morning please. Donations if desired to Saint Vincent's Hospital Dublin.

Denis O'Connor

Denis passed away peacefully in his 82nd year, in the loving care of his family.
Greatly missed by his wife Mary, daughters Sinead, Yvonne and Edel, Son Maurice, Son-in-law Barry, grandchildren, brothers and sisters Agnes, Michael, Jennie, Marie, Mossie, Brendan, Helen, Deirdre, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, niece's, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Denis Rest In Peace

Denis will repose on Wednesday in Saint Michael's Church Timahoe from 5pm to 8pm with the recital of the rosary at 7pm. Denis's Requiem Mass is on Thursday at 12 noon in Saint Michael's Church, Timahoe. Internment to follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery.

Lorraine passed away peacefully in Saint Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown in the company of her loving husband Stephen. Sadly missed by her heartbroken daughters Saoirse, Caitlin and Aoibhe, her father Thomas, predeceased mother Brigid , Mam Margaret , brothers Gerard, Alan and Thomas, her sister Jeanette, parents in law , brothers inlaw, sisters inlaw, nieces, nephews, Godchildren, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Lorraine Rest in Peace.

Lorraine will be reposing at home which is strictly family only .
