A little radio silence lately...
I'm writing this curled up on the couch in my jammies, watching the rain outside, absolutely exhausted after a full week of work. And somehow, it feels like the perfect time to share this.
I'll admit, there's been that little voice telling me I should be posting more. But creating content out of fear of losing followers isn't really a good reason to create content, is it?
Being self-employed and finding my feet in a new chapter has been interesting, to say the least!
For years, I had my lovely little yoga studio, where creating content came naturally. Without that familiar backdrop, it's a little trickier. Suddenly, it feels like I have to invite everyone into my everyday life just to have something to share.
And sometimes, quite frankly, I just don't have that much to say! 😂
I've been busy working, learning, exploring ideas and figuring out what comes next. I'm also learning that being quiet with your own thoughts, allowing things to settle and ideas to percolate, can be incredibly cathartic.
There's nothing to force. Nothing to fix. Perhaps I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be.
So, if you're feeling the pressure to constantly do, share or keep everyone else happy, here's a little reminder...
"You don't have to."
To everyone who continues to follow, engage and support my little corner of Instagram, thank you. And to those who've messaged to check I'm okay, I promise I'm grand! Just navigating a few changes and occasionally forgetting Instagram exists! 😂❤️
Trust me, there are plenty of ideas bubbling away in this head of mine. I just need the time and space to turn them into something worth sharing.
Not that I have all the answers. I'm sure you've probably heard half of it a million times before.
But hey, you haven't heard my perspective on it yet, have you? 😉❤️
