The death has occurred of Jerry Mannix,
Dromboy, Carrignavar, Cork / Buttevant, Cork.

Jerry passed away peacefully on Monday, 1st June 2026, surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at Blarney Nursing Home.

Formerly of Ballyclough Co-op, Mallow and Janssen Pharmaceutical, Jerry is predeceased by his beloved wife Anne and sister-in-law Mary Dinan.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted daughters, Mary Cantwell and Martina; son-in-law David and his cherished grandchildren, Maeve, James and Amy, whom he adored.

Jerry will also be fondly remembered and sadly mourned by his sisters-in-law Sr. Margaret SMG, Nellie (Davies) and Nora (McSweeney); brother-in-law Tim (Cashman); nieces and nephews; extended family; neighbours and many friends.

May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace in God's loving hands.

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51XE2T) on Wednesday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, followed by Prayers.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday morning in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Carraig na bhFear.

Funeral afterwards to Grenagh Cemetery.

Joe passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving wife and family in Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork on Monday, June 1st, 2026.

Predeceased by his parents, daughter Vicky, brothers Jackie, Paul and Leonard.

Survived by his loving wife Anne (née Keyes), Dan and his partner Katie, sisters Betty (Kiely), Ann, Mary, Ide, brothers Tommy and Ger, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, 2 granddaughters, good neighbours and friends especially Conor.

May he Rest in Peace

Reception into St. Mary's Church, Mallow on Wednesday afternoon for Requiem Mass at 2:30pm, after which there will be a Service in the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy at 5pm.

Loving husband of Nora (née Sheehan), much loved father of Elizabeth, Sonia, Michael, James, Noreen, Brenda, and the late Patrick, cherished grandfather of Michael Jnr., Christopher, Greg, Dylan, and Mary, great-grandfather to Michael, Patrick and James.
