Peacefully, at St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her mother Dinah, father Thomas and her brother Marc. Beloved wife of Anthony and loving mother of Matthew and Adam. Sadly missed by her husband and sons, brothers and sisters Christina, Tommy, Gary, Sharon and Tony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, father-in-law Malachy and Eileen, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Beloved Dad of Jennifer and Ceri. Sadly missed by his daughters, his mother Joan, brother Shane and sisters Siobhán, Aisling and Niamh, granddaughter Sadie, son-in-law Mike, brothers-in-law Andrew and Pat, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

DOLAN, Seamus (Eastham Road, Bettystown, Co. Meath and formerly of Sunday Gate, Drogheda, Co. Louth) 19th June 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by his family and in the exceptional care of the staff of the Blackrock Hospice. Son of the late James and Eileen, beloved husband and best friend of the late Mary, dad to Michelle, Gerard, Eileen and Joanne, grandad to James, Ellie, Matthew, Isabella, Aaron, the late Olivia, Christopher and Clara, brother of Maureen, the late Fergus, and Emer and friend of many. He is sadly missed by his daughters, son, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and his wide circle of friends.



Sincere thanks to Prof. Ray McDermott, Dr. Fergal Donnellan, the staff of Cedar and Cara Wards, SVPH, the Specialist Palliative Care Teams and to Dr. Michael O’Brien, Dr. Kandan Loganathan, and all at Hilltop Medical for their wonderful care over the years.

Seamus will repose at Watson Funeral Directors, Dyer Street, Drogheda (A92 W7EP), on Tuesday evening, 23rd June 2026, from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. His funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, 24th June 2026, at 11.00am in Sacred Heart Church, Laytown (A92 PF20), followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Drogheda. Seamus’s Funeral Mass may be viewed via live stream (link to follow).

HEWSON Jennifer (née Ellis) (Drogheda, Co Louth) June 15th 2026. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, Dublin Road, Drogheda. Predeceased by her husband Eric and her daughter Hazel. Beloved mother of Heather and Douglas, sister of Barbara and Carol. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jana, Adam, Nicole and Holly, son-in-law Stefan, daughter-in-law Sheila, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Funeral Service on Sunday (June 21st) in St. Mary’s Church of Ireland, Julianstown at 2pm. Interment afterwards in adjoining churchyard.
