Summer is here and your body knows it — you're already moving more, spending longer outside, and changing your routine without thinking twice.

Before you dive in, swipe through. A couple of things I always remind my patients this time of year. Small adjustments, big difference.

Enjoy every sunny day, Dublin. ☀️

is the body's loudest month. Longer days, sea swims, the first run of the year, the city outside more than in. We feel it in the clinic — the bookings shift, the questions shift, the kinds of pain people walk in with shift.

Three small invitations from us for the month ahead:

1) If you have been telling yourself you would book that assessment 'when the summer starts' — it's started. We have evening slots as well.

2) Father's Day is Sunday 21 June. We have gift vouchers — and honestly, an hour on the table is a kinder gift than another tie. DM if you want one prepared.

3) Men's Health Week is the 15th to the 21st. If there is a man in your life who has been saying 'it's nothing' for six months — this is a gentle nudge. Forward this post.

And a small note from me. As many of you know, I'm on maternity leave, learning the slow new geometry of being a parent. The clinic is open as usual, the team is excellent, and I'll be back. Until then I'll wave from the sidelines now and then.

Look after yourselves out there. Take the walk.

Recommendations from your in : 🏃‍♀️ 5 things to do after a 10K — so today's run doesn't become Friday's pain!

Sore on Thursday is normal. Sore in one spot, asymmetrically, past 5 days — that’s worth checking

Save for next time. Forward to a friend who ran. 💌

🏃‍♀️ The Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon is today!

10k road race through the city, the largest women’s event of its kind in the world. 28,000 women take part on the streets. Today moves!

To everyone running today, and to everyone moving their body in their own way, at their own pace — we see you.

In this post we are sharing our support and the course route, in our next post we we'll share what to do after, so today's effort becomes tomorrow's strength (and not tomorrow's stiffness).

The Rome Foundation officially reclassified what we used to call "colic."

Excessive crying in babies is no longer seen as just a digestive issue. The nervous system, the brain, sensory processing, and tissue tension from birth are all part of the picture.

Before → Infant/Baby colic. A tummy problem. Wait it out.
Now → Disorder of Gut-Brain Interaction. A whole-body response. Understand and support it.

What does this mean for you?
→ Your baby's crying, sleep, and feeding difficulties are connected
→ It was never about which formula — it's about how your baby's whole system is regulating
→ And that process can be supported. Gently. Now.

This is exactly what does. We don't treat one symptom at a time. We assess how your baby was born, where their body holds tension, how their nervous system is coping — and through gentle hands-on work, we help the body find its own balance.

We listen with our hands. We explain what we find. And we support your baby and you — because when parents understand what's happening, everyone breathes easier.

Before: wait it out.
Now: understand and support.
That's what we do at VivaBody. 💚

The second trimester is often when you finally feel like yourself again, and also when your body quietly starts asking for support.

This is for every pregnant woman who wants to understand what's happening inside. 🌸
