Phil passed away peacefully on 11th August 2026, in the tender and devoted care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by the love and support of his family.
Beloved husband of Sheila née Lawless and cherished father of Aideen, Desmond (Cliodhna), Sharon (Dennis) and Eamonn (Erika), much-loved grandad Leonora, Sarah, Gianna, Cian, Joseph, Jack, Ben, Daniel, Luke, Sam, Abbie great-grandad of Arlo and Gia and brother of Frank and the late Fintan, Brendan, Desmond, Margie, Jane, Agnes, Joe, Donnie and Kevin.
He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his heartbroken wife & best friend, sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends, whose life he enriched.

Reposing at his home (A91 DXN9) from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday. Removal on Friday morning at 11.30am to St. Patrick’s Cathedral (A91 T623) arriving for Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardstown (A91 XH75).

Rosaline Sweeney née Hogan, Mills of Louth, Louth Village, Co. Louth. Sunday 9th August 2026 in the wonderful care of St. Oliver Plunkett Hospital. Rosaline daughter of the late John and Adelaide, beloved wife of the late Seamus (May 2025), dear mother of Graham (Lorna), Shane, Paul,(Anna) Angela (Mohamed) and Mark (Monica), adored nana of Shannon, Aaron, Cara, Lee, James, Paul, Megan, Mark, Yasmin, Ellen-Rose and Max, great granny of Kealan, Kayla, Dominic, Dakota, Dani and Ophelia and sister of Vanessa, John and the late Angela. Rosaline will be sadly missed by her sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother, sister, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mary passed away peacefully on Friday 31st July 2026, at home, surrounded by the love and support of her family. Daughter of the late Jack and Kathleen Murphy, beloved wife of Brendan, cherished mother of Rosemary (Tom), Derek (Grainne), Eilish (David) and Deirdre (Richard) and much-loved nanny to Cormac, Thomas, Sadie, Brendan, Isobel, Rebecca Ryan, Abbie and Scott . Dear sister of Arthur (Rita) and Margaret (The late Tony O’Hare)
She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her heartbroken husband, son, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth and gentle presence.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Patrick J (Paddy) Holland (late of Monaghan) Ard Easmuinn Dundalk Peacefully, after a short illness on July 30 2026.
Predeceased by his parents John and Brigid Rose Holland (née Treanor) and his brother Seán & sister Nora (Mac Cinna)
Darling husband & best friend to Celine (née Coyle) and beloved father to
Barbara, Niall, Karen & Finbar, their partners, his adored grandchildren, brothers Joe, Maurice & Philip, & sister Jennifer, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends.

Loving husband of Bernie nee Arrowsmith , father to Brian (Karen), Craig (Jenny), Darren (Carmena) and Neil (Joanne). Cherished grandad of Craig, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Brian, Robbie, Emily, Austin and Ellie. Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Lily, and his sisters Mary Lorna Conlon and Agnes Farrelly. Beloved husband of Rosemary (née Kirke), cherished father of Pat (Channonrock), John (Balbriggan), Anne (Castlebar) and Jim born an Angel, loving grandad of Gráinne and dear father-in-law of Catherine and Ciaran and loving brother of James.

Gretta beloved daughter of the late Margaret and John, sister of Bernadette Clarke and late Anne Downey, Mary D’Arcy, Roselyn Lennon, Josephine Campbell, Sean O’ Doherty, Philomena Mills and Carmel Mc Kevitt sister-in-law Margaret O’ Doherty.
