suitable from 2 weeks to pre-crawling, please contact me for prep work if your baby is younger than two weeks*

A group of parents and their babies come together to learn a unique set of skills to encourage optimum movement, fun and development for their pre-crawling baby.
The focus of the class is to encourage development from an Occupational Therapy perspective using movement, play and education.

The 5 week class aims to equip parents with:
✔️ Evidence-based advice and strategies on the “8 phases” of assisting baby to move in and out of positions depending on their motor ability and sensory preferences.
✔️Each week will cover different topics related to child development from an Occupational Therapy perspective
✔️The importance of “movement medicine” and how to incorporate healthy movement and play into activities of daily living with your baby
✔️Tea/coffee, cake and chats while your little one sleeps after a busy morning of movement and play.

⏰Each class lasts around 90mins (some days I ask questions that take the whole day to answer. Some days I ask questions as part of research. And some tea and coffee sessions are used as focus groups! 😂🙈)

Baby Massage Summer 2026 dates:

📚Learn all the massage strokes. Each week there will also be a different topic discussed using an Occupational Therapy lens 🔎

🌀This week in baby massage class we had a wonderful conversation about supporting our needs and babies needs and what this looks like.

🎶We chatted about the noise on social media and the pressure to be all loving, all emotional, physically, socially available all the time and the unrealistic expectation of this.

🚪We opened the conversation of meeting our own needs while supporting a little teeny tiny human.

🌳We chatted all things nature Vs nurture and all about the 💃 dance of personalities.

🍋it was refreshing to life the lid on pendulum effect above and honouring that it isn’t a spectrum rather an ever changing pendulum and dance between parents and babies that builds bonds and attachments and life long little friendships 🥰

🗣️We could have stayed in that room all day and changed the world 🌎

The classes are about early movement and sensory development and how to support as the baby grows. The first hour is movement and games to support development and then a talk incorporated into this. Then 30 mins for tea and chats ☕️

A little insight from lived experience of the pre crawlers classes

A small side step into baby classes before I continue on with OT intervention using ponies… it all merges under the Occupational Therapy umbrella, whether we work inside in the clinic room or outside in the equine environment ❤️
