🎃Halloween pet safety tips! 👻

🕸No sweeties for your sweetie! Ensure any Halloween treats or chocolate are kept out of reach of your pet
🕸Beware of any Halloween decorations or lights, if ingested could cause intestinal blockages
🕸Do not leave pets unsupervised around candles/jack o lanterns
🕸Do not force your pets to wear costumes if they don't want to, this can be stressful for pets no matter not cute it may be
🕸Walk your dog early in the day as fireworks or bangers could cause them to bolt. 🕸Make sure your pet is wearing a collar with up to date tag and keep on a lead
🕸 Create a safe space! Make sure pets have a quiet calm area to retreat to when fireworks start. You can create a den with blankets or your pets crate/carrier.
🕸Classical music/TV can help to drown out the noise

We’re looking for brave dogs and cats to join our blood donor team. 🐶🐱❤️

With our 24-hour out-of-hours service now available, there may be times when we need a blood donor overnight, at weekends or outside normal opening hours.

Having a list of potential donors we can contact could make a huge difference when a patient needs urgent treatment.

If you think your pet could help and they fit the criteria below, we’d love to hear from you!

🐾 Your pet’s name and age
📞 Your name and phone number
⏰ When you’re generally available — e.g. during the day, evenings, weekends, overnight etc.
