Men’s Aid Ireland welcomes the Government’s approval to publish Jennie’s Law, the Domestic Violence (Judgments) Register Bill 2026.

This is a significant and welcome step in strengthening Ireland’s response to domestic abuse, improving public awareness, supporting victim safety, and increasing accountability for serious domestic violence offences.

We particularly acknowledge the courage and determination of Jennifer Poole’s family, whose campaigning has helped bring this important legislation forward.

Domestic abuse affects people of all genders, backgrounds and communities.

Men’s Aid will continue to support all efforts that improve safety, strengthen protection, and ensure that victims and survivors can access the information, support and services they need.

Counselling is a collaborative practice based on respect and understanding.

Men's Aid counsellors listen to you, encourage you to open up and work through your experiences and emotions, and may ask questions that can challenge the way you think.

Counsellors are non-judgemental and are not there to offer advice but to help you find ways of coping. Even a small donation can make a major impact in someone's healing journey.

To donate, you can scan the QR Code or go to https://www.mensaid.ie/donate/ and click on donate. Thank you!
