Peacefully, at home on 9th August 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his son, Enda (Kenny’s shop), his parents, Michael and Mary (née Keating), sister, Julia (Bergin), and brothers, Fr. Peter (I.C.), Frank, Michael, and Oliver, and his brothers in law, Tom and Paddy.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, Mary (née Kennedy, Loughmore), children, Bernie, Triona, Noeleen, Oliver, Edel and Paula, fifteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, sisters in law, Sr. Margaret (St John of God, Wexford) and Lily Kenny, daughters in law, sons in law, niece, nephews, relatives, good friends and neighbours

Reposing at Doyle’s Funeral Home Roscrea (E53 RX08) on Monday 10 August from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at 8pm to St Molua’s Church, Roscomroe (E53 NH67).

Funeral Mass at 12 o'clock, Tuesday, followed by Burial in Dungar Cemetery.

Joseph Dempsey

Killavilla, Roscrea, Co Tipperary.

Passed away peacefully at University Hospital Limerick on August 3rd 2026 after a short illness.

Pre deceased by his parents William and Rita, sister Mary and brother Gerard.

Joe will be sadly missed by his brother Liam, sister in law Kathleen, nephews Diarmaid and Eoghan and their wives Una and Agi, niece Ciara and her husband Stephen, grand nieces and grand nephew, his relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Doyle's Funeral Home E53 RX08 Wednesday 5th August from 6pm to 8pm.

Removal on Thursday to St Cronan's Church Roscrea for funeral mass at 11am. Followed by burial in adjoining old cemetery.

Philomena (Penie) Quinlan née Sheedy

The Heath Roscrea formerly of
Aghadouglas. Penie passed away peacefully on 23rd July 2026 in the loving care of the staff of Patterson's Nursing Home, Roscrea.

Predeceased by her husband Jerry, brothers Tony and Daniel.

Deeply regretted by her sons Tim and Tommy, daughter Ann, daughters-in-law Michelle and Karen, son-in-law Jonathan, grandchildren Conor, Daniel, Tadhg, Julie, Mary, Eleanor and Michael, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing Saturday 25th July from 4pm with Rosary at 7pm at her son Tim's residence in Ballybeg, Coolderry R42 DK29

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 2pm in St John’s Church Ballybritt E53 PK79

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Essie, brother Ciarán and sister Priscilla.

Sadly missed by his brothers, Edward, Thomas, Martin, PJ, Chris. Sisters Monica, Valerie and Alison. His brothers and sisters in law, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Mary (Maudie) Dooley née Murphy

22 St.Canices Terrace, Borris in Ossory, Co Laois, formerly Ashbury, Roscrea, Co Tipperary, passed away suddenly but peacefully at her home on 24th of April 2026 surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Joe, her parents Patrick and Elizabeth, brothers Patsy, Dickie, Seanie, Tony, Jimmy, Joey, Horix, sisters Anna and Betty.

Maudie will be deeply missed by her much loved son and daughter Joe and Monica, daughter in law Claire (Wallace), son in law Mark (Williams), cherished grandchildren, Emily, Jake, Robyn, Eva, Harry, MJ and Bobby, dear brother Tadghy, sisters in law Una and Lily, nieces, nephews and their families, her supportive friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Doyle's Funeral Home, Roscrea E53 RX08 on Saturday 25th April from 5pm to 7pm, returning to her residence on Sunday at 2pm where she will remain for visitors. Rosary on Sunday and Monday at 7pm.

Arriving to St Canice's Church on Tuesday for funeral mass for 11am.

Burial afterwards in Derrinsallagh Graveyard, Borris in Ossary.

Aghancon, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, on 16th April 2026 in Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore, in the presence of his loving partner Breda.

Predeceased by his parents Edward and Doris.

Leslie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Breda, his many heartbroken cousins, extended family members, neighbours and many good friends.

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore on 1st April 2026 after a short illness.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Jackie, brothers, sisters, brothers in law and sisters in law.

Deeply regretted by her loving family Ralph, Cecil, Philip, Anne, Rosie and Shirley, sons in law, daughters in law and her adored fourteen grandchildren.

Sadly missed by her brothers in law, sisters in law and her extended family, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Coolroe, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Fallowbeg, Timahoe, Co. Laois. Died February 7th 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Ann, her brother David, and her daughter Sandra.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Tommy, her loving children Gary, Stuart, Stephen, Alison, Clive, Roy, Damien and Jason, her brother Leslie, and her sisters Olive, Mabel and Joan, her daughters-in-law Mary, Elaine, Caitrin, Niamh and Laura, and her grandchildren Tom, Dara, Thadí, Oisín, Ross, Lily, Isla and Anna. Also, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

William (Horix) Murphy

3 Ashbury Avenue Roscrea Co.Tipperary. Died 25th Decemebr 2025.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William Murphy surrounded by his loving family and in the care of Nenagh General Hospital.

Predeceased by his mother Elizabeth, father Patrick, brothers Patsy, Dickie, Seanie, Tony Jimmy and Joey, sisters Anna and Betty.

A much loved brother to Tahdg and Maudie.
A beloved uncle, grand uncle and great grand uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

Reposing in Doyle's Funeral Home, Roscrea E53 RX08 on Sunday 28th December from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal from his residence on Monday at 11.15 am to arrive at St Cronan's Church, Roscrea for funeral mass at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in adjoining old cemetery.
