Margaret Preston (nee Gargan), Preston's Lane, Rahardrum, Virginia and formerly Tierworker, unexpectedly but peacefully in Cavan General Hospital on 19th June 2026 surrounded in the loving care of her family.

Predeceased by her husband Liam Snr., her son Liam Jnr. and her Grandson Christopher, her parents Michael and Anne, her brother Philip and her sisters Rose and Eileen.

A Loving mother who will be forever missed by her children David (Lo**ta), Janice (Sean), Sophia (Ollie), Maranda (Graham), Laurence (Anna), Sonia, Michael (Tanya), her grandchildren Shauna, Ryan, Nicole, Tyrone, Ben, Kayla, Kyle, Jamie, Daniel, Oisin, Emma, Andrew, Craig, Aaron, Teigan, Keeva, Michael and Pheobe and her great grandchildren Tommy, Bobby, Poppy, Roisin and Hazel, her brother Micko and sisters Annamay and Bridget.

Removal on Monday morning to Mary Immaculate Church Virginia for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Funeral times have changed..

The death has occurred of Noel Brennan, Dunancory, Virginia, Co. Cavan, and formerly of Bray, Co. Wicklow, and Edmondstown, Ardee, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents, his brother Gerry and his sister Sr Catherine.

Much loved husband of Ann and beloved Dad of Niall and Róisín and adored Gaga of Niamh, Eoghan, Hannah, Juliette and Oliver.

Sadly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, daughter in law Myra, son in law Tony, his sisters and brothers May, Tommy, Madge, Tony, Fr Oliver and Martin, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and dear neighbours.

Reposing at his home, Dunancory, Virginia, A82 NY13 (Oldcastle Road) on Wednesday evening from 5pm until prayers at 8pm, and on Thursday evening from 5pm until prayers at 8pm.

Please follow directions from parking attendants.

The death has occurred of P J Gillick, Rahardrum, Virginia, Co. Cavan peacefully, at the Mater Hospital, Dublin, on 12th June 2026, in the loving care of his family.
Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Margaret, his sister Kathleen, his brother Johnny, his twin grandsons, and his nephew Cathal.
PJ will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife Teresa of 60 years; his beloved children Charlie (Marie), Paul (Frances), Maggie (Peter), Peter (Nuala) and Paddy (Karen); his brother Con; his 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; his nephew Denis (Margo); his nieces, his dear neighbours and many friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Joan and Tommy.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife and best friend, Valerie, his loving children, Donna, Stephen, Jo, and Mark, and his treasured grandchildren, Alaani, Holly, Koda, Amy, Alex, Oscar, and adored great-grandchild, Sofia.

Beloved partner of Jimmy, cherished mother of Lorna and Helen, and devoted grandmother to Heidi, Caitlin, Evie-Lou and James.

Predeceased by her husband James, and her daughters Ailish, Irene and Maureen, and her grandson Cormac. Also her parents, Jane and Peter, and her sisters Brigid, Annie, Jenny, and her brother Peter.

Much loved mother of Carmel (Gerry), Thomas (Gabrielle), Jane (Peter), James, Peter, Rosie (Aidan) and Bernie (Fergus). A much adored and loved Granny Murtagh to her 18 grandchildren, and cherished great-grandmother to her 20 great-grandchildren.
