Paddy passed away peacefully in the tender and excellent care of The Fiona Stanley Hospital, Western Australia.

Monday 1st of June, 2026. R.I.P.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents 𝓔𝓭𝓭𝓲𝓮 and 𝓟𝓱𝓲𝓵𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓪. Paddy will be sorely missed and always remembered by his brothers Marshall, Tyrone, Jason, Wayne and his sister Yvette. Paddy will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-law John and his sister-in-law Niamh, nephews Darragh and Tadgh, niece Alana, his uncles, aunties, cousins, extended family and his wide circle of friends.

✨A few photos from last night’s discussion centred around living with grief and supporting ourselves and others through experiences of loss.

✨Our Assistant Funeral Director, Beryl, was grateful for the opportunity to listen to and learn from other professionals working across a range of support services. These conversations around bereavement, compassion, and community support are invaluable.

✨With a long-standing background in social care and a degree in Social Studies, Beryl really values opportunities like this to deepen understanding and strengthen the way we support our families.💛

☀️Grief can be extra hard on a really sunny day like today.

Sometimes there’s a strange contrast between what the world looks like and what you’re carrying internally.
Sunlight, people outside, the feeling that everyone else is enjoying life, it can intensify absence, loneliness, or the sense that someone should be right there with you.

Even something as simple as grabbing an ice cream in Tramore can bring it all rushing back to the surface, the sea air, the sunshine, the smell of summer, the heat, the memories, and the person/people you wish were still beside you!

And that’s okay. You don’t have to force yourself to match the brightness of the day. Be gentle with yourself, take the moments as they come, and let yourself feel both the love and the loss.
Some days the only thing you can do is simply keep going.

𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓕𝓾𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓵 𝓓𝓲𝓻𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓸𝓻𝓼.
Knowing us in some way.
Whether a previous funeral, Facebook, a familiar face to you, a passing moment long before your loss, somehow it can soften the weight of the day when you are not starting from nothing in the middle of everything.
There is already a thread of trust there, already a sense that you will be understood without having to explain too much.

It does not lessen the grief, but it can steady things it in that moment.

And then there are times when you meet the Funeral Directors for the first time, and on the worst day of your life.

With no shared history, no familiarity, just strangers meeting in a moment that is anything but ordinary.
In that moment you can feel pressure to share your story, your love, and your loss, trying to make a stranger understand where you are at, without ever having known them before!

From our side, we want you to know that we understand this more than words can often say. When we meet you in your most fragile hours, we know the weight you are carrying in that moment, we know the pain of having to make decisions when your world has stopped, and we care so deeply about the responsibility to get things right for you.
We hear you and we see you more than you know.

Because whether familiar or not, what matters most is the same…

That a family feels held,
And that in a moment they would never choose, they are treated with understanding, dignity, and calm in a very safe space with us.

We know that often what stays with people long after is not what was said at all.

but how it felt to be looked after, by someone who either already knew them, or learned them gently in the space of a single day.

Alice Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Friday 15th of May 2026 - R.I.P.

Predeceased by her beloved parents Alice and Eddie, and brother Noel.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband 𝓟𝓪𝓽. Forever missed by her children Amy, Pat and Kate, her adoring grandchildren Aoife and Dylan.

Mary passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Mowlam Nursing Home, Tramore, surrounded by her family in the early hours of
Saturday 9th May, 2026 ~ R.I.P.

Predeceased by her beloved husband 𝓜𝓲𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓮𝓵, and adored daughter 𝓖𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓪𝓷, her brothers Michael, Kevin, John, Noel and sisters Helen and Rosaleen.

Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Clodagh, Jenny, Tara, Michael and Erika, her sons-in-law, Cathal, Tom, Paddy, Mark, and daughter-in-law Ann-Marie.
Mary will be ever missed by her beloved grandchildren Noah, Sam, Alex, Max, Amber and Georgia, her sisters Valerie, Rufina, Ursula, Annette and Marcia, her brother-in-law Fr. Roddy Curran and sisters in law Mary Curtin and Pat Curran.

Mary will be fondly remembered by all the friends she met over her years in Athy, Dungarvan, Tipperary, Cork and Tramore, and also by her extended family.

𝓜𝓪𝔂 𝓜𝓪𝓻𝔂’𝓼 𝓖𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓵𝓮 𝓢𝓸𝓾𝓵 𝓡𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓲𝓷 𝓔𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓵𝓪𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓟𝓮𝓪𝓬𝓮.

Reposing at Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown Tramore X91 TW21 on Wednesday 13th May from 5pm until 7pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday 14th May at 10am in the Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore.
Immediately afterwards Mary will be laid to rest in St. Declan’s Cemetery.

🕊️𝓣𝓸𝓭𝓪𝔂 𝔀𝓮 𝓻𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻 𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓓𝓪𝓭 𝓸𝓷 𝓱𝓲𝓼 15𝓽𝓱 𝓪𝓷𝓷𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓪𝓻𝔂🕊️

Fifteen years have passed since we said goodbye, yet his presence is still with us, in the values he instilled and in how we care for others.
As a funeral director, he served families with compassion, dignity, and quiet strength. To him, it was not a job, but a calling.

As our Dad, he was our guide, our steady hand, and our greatest example. His kindness, wisdom, and sense of duty continue to shape who we are, both in life and in the work we carry forward.

Losing him at both his young age and ours, taught us grief in the most personal way, giving us a deep empathy for the families we serve. We understand the weight of loss and the importance of genuine care, not just as professionals, but as a family who have lived it, a family who have walked that road ourselves.

It was one of the greatest honours to care for our Dad as he cared for so many. That same love, dignity, and compassion remain at the heart of everything we do and we carry it forward everyday.

Today, we remember him with love, gratitude, and pride. Though deeply missed, his legacy lives on in every family we are so honoured to serve.
