He has completed his MBBS from SCB Medical college, Cuttack, and MD general Medicine from IMS, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. He did his DM Cardiology at the prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum, Kerala . After completing his DM cardiology, he joined as assistant professor in the department of Cardiology in the prestigious, Christian Medical College, Vellore. During his tenure, he became highly skilled in many adult and pediatric cardiac interventions, and also peripheral vascular interventions. He did his preceptorship in Interventional Cardiology from the Cleveland Clinic, USA, which is one of the best institutes in the world. He returned to his home state and joined AIIMS, Bhubaneswar as assistant professor and served for one and half years. He was instrumental in doing many complex cardiac interventions that benefitted many patients of Odisha as well as neighboring states. He next joined as associate professor at IMS and SUM Hospital and as consultant cardiologist at SUM ULTIMATE, Bhubaneswar. Recently he joined as consultant cardiologist at AMRI Hospital, Bhubaneswar. He is young, dynamic and very much skilled in interventional cardiology- adult/ pediatric/ neonatal. He also takes keen interest in social awareness initiatives like educating common people about various cardiac problems.
