From Divine Serenity to Sudden Chaos: Remembering Kailash Mansarovar Amidst the Border Tragedy

Exactly one year ago, our hearts were filled with overwhelming peace and devotion as we crossed the Nepal–China border on our sacred Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Walking these high-altitude corridors toward Mount Kailash was a life-changing spiritual milestone.
Seeing the catastrophic flash floods and landslides tear through the very same Rasuwagadhi–Gyirong border corridor—washing away vital roads, infrastructure, and leaving hundreds of pilgrims and locals stranded—is heartbreaking.

The Himalayas are as fragile as they are majestic. Nature’s raw power is a sobering reminder of how precious and delicate every journey through these sacred mountains truly is. Praying for the safety of all rescue teams, missing travelers, pilgrims, and the brave local communities navigating this devastating aftermath.
