Mission Director NHM Ladakh Reviews Healthcare Facilities at PHC Panikhar, CHC Sankoo and PHC Karsha.

Kargil, May 21: Shri Tushar Anand, IAS, Mission Director, NHM Ladakh, visited PHC Panikhar, CHC Sankoo, and PHC Karsha to review healthcare facilities and assess the functioning of health institutions in Kargil district.

Accompanied by the CMO Kargil, BMO Zanskar, BMO Sankoo, and BMO Taisuru, the Mission Director interacted with doctors, paramedical staff, and healthcare workers and reviewed various issues related to healthcare services and functioning of the institutions.

Shri Tushar Anand assured the staff that necessary steps would be taken to strengthen healthcare services and improve patient care facilities in the region under NHM.

The Mission Director also interacted with patients to gather feedback regarding healthcare services and emphasized the importance of quality, patient-centric, and accessible healthcare delivery.

During the inspections, he reviewed the cleanliness and maintenance of the health institutions and inspected diagnostic facilities, pharmacy services, and other sections of the hospitals. Directions were issued for strengthening diagnostic and drug services through NHM support to ensure improved healthcare delivery for the public.

Mission Director NHM Ladakh Reviews Healthcare Services at CHC Zanskar.

Zanskar, May 20: Shri Tushar Anand, Mission Director, NHM Ladakh, conducted an inspection visit to Community Health Centre (CHC) Zanskar during his ongoing three-day tour of Zanskar and Kargil districts.

Accompanied by the BMO Zanskar, the Mission Director interacted with doctors, paramedical staff, and healthcare workers, who raised various issues including loyalty bonus, enhancement of wages, and long pending transfers. Shri Tushar Anand assured the staff that their genuine demands would be taken up with the Ministry of Health and other concerned authorities for consideration.

He also interacted with patients to obtain feedback regarding healthcare services and stressed the importance of patient-centric and efficient service delivery.

During the inspection, the Mission Director visited the Operation Theatre (OT), wards, pharmacy, and other sections of the hospital. He issued directions for strengthening healthcare delivery, proper maintenance of records, improved transparency through information boards, and ensuring better management of hospital services.

The visit reflects NHM Ladakh’s continued commitment towards improving healthcare infrastructure and delivery in remote regions of the Union Territory.

Mission Director NHM Ladakh Inspects PHC Thiksay and PHC Chuchot, Emphasizes Quality Healthcare Services.

Mission Director, National Health Mission Ladakh, Sh. Tushar Anand (IAS), conducted an inspection visit to PHC Thiksay and PHC Chuchot to review the healthcare facilities and services being provided to the public.

During the visit, the Mission Director inspected various sections of the health centres including the pharmacy, healthcare service delivery mechanisms, and the functioning and roles of the staff. He interacted with the healthcare personnel and reviewed the overall arrangements aimed at ensuring effective and efficient healthcare services for the people.

The Mission Director directed the health staff to maintain quality healthcare standards and ensure dedicated service delivery towards the welfare of the public. He also stressed the importance of creating awareness among the people regarding the healthcare benefits and services being provided by the Government of India through the health centres.

The Mission Director further emphasized the need for strengthening public healthcare services and ensuring that people in rural and remote areas fully benefit from the healthcare facilities available under various government health initiatives.
