Practice Update

From 1st May, Dr Prav Kasinathan will become the sole owner of Clifden Surgery, following the departure of Dr Helen Thomas.

This marks a new chapter for the practice, and we would like to reassure patients that care will continue as normal, with the same management and admin teams in place.

Patients currently registered with Dr Helen Thomas will automatically transfer to Dr Prav Kasinathan from 1 May 2026, with no changes to registration, medical records or services.

Our clinical team remains available, and we are pleased to be increasing clinical capacity with additional GP sessions.

Our team includes:
• Dr Prav Kasinathan
• Dr Lisa Clynes
• Dr Alexandra Dickinson
• Dr Lauren Wilson-Kelly, currently on maternity leave and returning December 2026
• Nurse Karen Yau

We are also pleased to welcome Dr Joanna Truchan back to the practice from May 2026.

Dr Bhavi Patel will also be joining the surgery in May, followed by Dr Alexandre Czerniewski in August. Dr Czerniewski will be joining on a full-time basis, further strengthening our clinical team.
