A bit more about me…
After several years of giving massages, my touch and my intuition have become more refined.
About 12 years ago, I was told that I had the ability to soothe inflammation. I took this in, but without being too sure of myself, I tried it out in a casual sort of way on someone who had eczema on their hands. And it worked. I was surprised myself! I did this several times without really focusing on it or trying to do more with it. (Eczema, nappy rash in babies, shingles...)
During my massages – as some of you can attest – I also work to relieve or release tension and rebalance an area so that energy flows more freely, using the warmth of my hands and my intention. This is what might be called magnetism. This explains why some of you find that my treatments are not quite like any others.
Then, this summer, a friend asked me if I knew anyone who could work wonders, as her friend’s daughter had huge, painful red patches on her arms.
Naturally, I said, “Me!”
We met up, and this lovely little girl turned up with eczema that had started a few days before she came on holiday and had become infected.
(She’d seen the doctor and had been given some medicine.)
So I placed my hands on her arms and we chatted about this and that.
I mentioned to her mum that it would be a good idea to repeat this treatment several times during their stay.
Over the course of 10 days, we meet about four times; I help her to relax and give her some advice on how to calm herself down or relieve her itching on her own. She’s very attentive.
This skin reaction had flared up following an argument between her parents and her fear of them separating.
Sometimes the body sends us messages through muscle, joint or organ pain, but also through the skin. (Emotional overload, shock, etc.)
During her stay, the wound healed thanks to our sessions, so she was able to go for a swim! The sea water helped with the healing, as did the coconut oil I’d advised her to apply every day to nourish and soften the skin.
Today, she has nothing left.
I’m not a doctor, I don’t write prescriptions, I’m not a magician, and I don’t perform miracles.
This story, amongst others, has made me want to share this side of myself with you today.
Thank you for your trust 💜
