A New Milestone for Cardiac Electrophysiology in Sarawak ❤️

We are proud to announce that Borneo Medical Centre (BMC) Kuching has successfully completed our first clinical electrophysiology case using the latest EnSite™️ X Electrophysiology System together with the TactiFlex™️ Duo Ablation Catheter.

This marks a significant step forward in bringing world-class heart rhythm treatment closer to the people of Sarawak and East Malaysia.

Led by Dr. Ho Kian Hui, Consultant Cardiologist & Cardiac Electrophysiologist, alongside our dedicated Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (Cath Lab) team, this achievement reflects BMC’s commitment to providing advanced, precision-based cardiac care without patients having to travel to Peninsular Malaysia or overseas.

With the addition of this cutting-edge technology, BMC is now able to offer both:
✅ Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
✅ Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA)

These minimally invasive procedures provide effective treatment for patients with heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation (AF), supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), atrial flutter, and selected ventricular arrhythmias.
