♿ BREAKING BARRIERS: OPENING EXPORT OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
The Disability Projects Initiative (DPI) successfully mobilized 50 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to participate in a 1-Day Enlightenment Training on “Export Inclusiveness and Opportunities”, organized by the The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC). The event was held on Tuesday, 8 September 2026 at Kano Chamber of Commerce, Trade Fair Complex, Zoo Road, Kano State Nigeria.
The training provided an important platform for PWD participants to learn about Nigeria’s non-oil export , export procedures, documentation requirements, market access, and pathways for participating in the global economy.
A key technical session on Export Procedures and Documentation was delivered providing participants with practical knowledge on the requirements and processes involved in exporting goods and .
The programme also featured interactive discussions, stakeholder engagement, goodwill messages, and certificate presentation.
