One thought I'd add to this conversation:

Many families don't necessarily lack resources. They have food, clothing, shelter, and opportunities. What they often lack is intentional leadership that gives those resources direction and purpose.

Without healthy leadership, even a well-provided home can slowly drift into misplaced priorities, poor values, a lack of structure, and unhealthy dependency. Eventually, the emotional weight of carrying everything alone becomes exhausting not just for the man but for the entire family. That burden can contribute to burnout, depression, and, for some, even thoughts of giving up.

If you're a man carrying that weight, this isn't a criticism of your effort. Your family may deeply appreciate all you do. But leadership is a skill, and like every skill, it can be developed. There's always room to unlearn, learn, and relearn.

Notice I didn't start with husband or father—I started with man. That's because the quality of your leadership at home will never rise above the quality of the man you become. Lead yourself well, and your family will benefit from that growth.

And ladies, let's be clear, there's something deeply attractive about a man who leads with wisdom, humility, and responsibility.

A leader, not a dictator.

Some children are smiling in school, passing exams, and appearing "fine"—yet silently battling fears, pressure, loneliness, anxiety, or pain they don't feel safe enough to share.

Sometimes, what a child needs most is not advice, correction, or judgment—but a listening ear.

As parents and caregivers, let's create homes where children can speak freely, be heard, and feel understood.

What is one thing your parents did (or you wish they had done) that made it easier to open up? Share in the comments.👇

There say love is expressed through words and actions, but I'm curious! What is the state of mind of the person expressing this love?

An individual will only display what he / she understands in the best ways they know how to.
