Another Sound Healing Practitioner Level 1 graduate!

What a wonderful weekend of 1:1 training with Megan. Time absolutely flew by as we explored the foundations of sound healing, and thanks to her many thoughtful and interesting questions, we were able to dive deeply into the theory behind the practice.

Seeing students develop confidence with the instruments and gain a deeper understanding of how sound can support wellbeing is always one of my favourite parts of teaching. 🎶

Congratulations, Megan, on completing your Sound Healing Practitioner Training Level 1! 🎓

🍂 Autumn dates for Sound Healing Practitioner Training Level 1 and Level 2 will be announced soon. Stay tuned for updates!

••Help me to shape the new Sound Journey Offering••

For the past 7 years, I've had the privilege of holding space through sound, vibration, and deep listening.

Recently, a new instrument arrived in my practice: a beautiful 80cm Soltana gong.

Since welcoming it, I've been exploring its rich tones, powerful resonance, and the unique way it invites the body and mind into a different state of awareness. Every instrument has its own voice, and I'm curious to discover how this one speaks to different people.

Because of that, I'm opening a small number of 1:1 introductory gong sessions at a reduced price.

These sessions are for anyone who feels called to:
- Slow down and reconnect
- Experience deep relaxation
- Explore sound in a more personal setting
- Share honest feedback about their experience

In exchange for a lower introductory rate, I'd love to hear what you experienced during and after the session. Your insights will help me shape this offering with care and intention.

• Session length: 45 minutes
• Introductory exchange: €45
• location: De Baarsjes, Amsterdam
• 8 spots available

If you feel curious, send me a DM and I'll happily share the details.

I'd also love to know:
Have you ever experienced the sound of a large gong before?

One thing nobody tells you when you start holding space for people is that feedback can be both incredibly valuable and completely misleading at the same time.

After 8 years of facilitating sessions, workshops, and ceremonies, I've received all kinds of feedback.

Some of it has helped me grow.
Some of it has shown me blind spots.
And some of it has simply reflected the personal experience, expectations, or emotional state of the person giving it.

Recently, someone gave me feedback that the session felt stressful, that I talked too much, and that my approach felt arrogant.

I listened. I thanked them for sharing. I didn't argue or defend myself. Because their experience was real for them.

But here's what I've learned:

Not every piece of feedback is an instruction.

Not every uncomfortable experience means someone did something wrong.

And not every criticism requires changing your work.

When you work with people, especially in healing, personal growth, or wellness spaces, you quickly discover that ten people can have ten completely different experiences of the exact same session.

Part of being a professional is staying open enough to hear feedback.

Another part is having enough self-trust to know when feedback reveals something that genuinely needs attention. And when it reflects the unique lens, expectations, and personal struggles of the person sharing it.

Both can be true.

So I keep listening.
I keep learning.
And I keep moving forward without allowing every opinion to define my work.

Because if you serve people long enough, you will eventually disappoint someone simply by being yourself.
We can't be everyone's cup of tea ☕

This post is dedicated to my Mom.
I do not have enough words to describe all my love and gratitude towards her.

Happy Mother's Day, Mamciu ❤️

While I know in The Netherlands Mother's Day is celebrated a couple of weeks earlier, in Poland we do that today 🌸

A woman recently messaged me asking:

“Which instruments should I buy for sound healing? Crystal bowls or Tibetan bowls?”

I told her:
Don’t start with the instruments.
Start with the training.

Because without understanding:
✨ how sound affects the nervous system
✨ how to hold space safely
✨ how frequencies interact with the body
✨ how to listen beyond the ears
even the most beautiful bowls become just objects.

Too many people buy instruments first and only later realize they don’t know how to truly work with them.

Sound healing is not about collecting tools.
It is about developing sensitivity, presence, and understanding.

That’s exactly why I created the Sound Healing Practitioner Training – Level 1.

This training gives you the foundation:
🔹 how to work with crystal & Tibetan bowls
🔹 how to create a therapeutic sound journey
🔹 energetic and practical techniques
🔹 confidence to begin your own practice

The instruments often come after the connection.

If you’ve been feeling called to sound healing, this may be your sign to begin the right way. ✨

Gentle Comeback Cacao Ceremony

A month ago, my body asked me to stop.
I underwent surgery, and since then I’ve been learning a new rhythm of healing - slower, softer, more listening than pushing.

One of the deepest parts of this journey has been my voice.
For those who know my ceremonies, singing has always been a huge part of how I hold space. And right now, my voice is still recovering. It is quieter. Limited. Tender.

For a while, I wondered if I should wait until everything felt “fully back.”
But healing rarely arrives all at once. Sometimes the medicine is in returning gently.

So in two weeks, I will be holding a Gentle Comeback Cacao Ceremony — not as a perfect return, but as an honest one.
A ceremony to honour the body.
To honour change.
To honour the voice exactly as it is today.

This space will be slower, softer, intimate and deeply grounded.
There may be less singing, but perhaps more listening.
More presence.
More truth.

If you are also moving through a season of healing, transition, tenderness, or learning to meet yourself differently, you are warmly welcome.

We will gather with cacao, breath, silence, connection, and gentle music — allowing ourselves to arrive without needing to perform or be “fully healed.”
