We Are Human Beings, Not Human Doings

So many of us are tired of the constant staring at screens, the perpetual cycle of marketing, offering services, products and knowledge through social media.

I know I am.

After seven years of creating my personal brand online, people trust me, love me and know me. But at what cost?

I want to be plain and blunt here, as I have seen this symptom arise all around me while speaking to highly achieving, ambitious women.

Pushing forward in order to feel safe, to provide, to secure, to feed and to finally arrive somewhere leads to exhaustion.

Sooner or later, it catches up with us—in a form perfectly suited and tailored to our own awakening and evolution.

Being brought to the ground and searching for new, more aligned ways of living and creating abundant income may simply be life's invitation to begin again.

We are human beings, not human doings.

Be. Do. Have. Remember?:-)

I am slowly learning that life doesn't ask me to do more. It asks me to trust more.

To rest more.

To walk in nature.

To take the smallest possible steps towards what matters and trust that they are enough.

What I am saying here is also a gentle reminder to myself….to stay in line, to trust, and to acknowledge that results require patience.

A pineapple takes eighteen months to bear fruit while being watered and cared for every single day.

Invitation to take the same approach.

Sow the seeds.

Nourish them daily.

Practice self-love and compassion.

Walk in nature.

Call the prospect.

Send the email.

Rest more.

Sleep more.

You get the rhythm, right?:-)

We are human beings, not human doings.

Becoming the Woman You Were Before the World Shaped You

The journey back to yourself is not about becoming someone new.

It is about remembering.

Removing the layers.
Questioning the beliefs.
Releasing what was never yours.

The woman underneath was always there.

She was waiting.

Waiting for you to stop asking:

“What should I do?”

And start asking:

“What feels true?”

I am sharing this journey as I walk it.

Because maybe my questions are also your questions. And maybe we are not lost… maybe we are returning.”

Maybe you have felt it too.

That strange feeling that the life you created no longer fully fits.

You are grateful.
You are successful.
You have built so much.

And yet…

Something inside whispers:

“There is more.”

More freedom.
More truth.
More adventure.
More expression.
More you.

This is not a sign that something is wrong.

It may be a sign that something deeper is waking up.

What does it mean to live from your essence?

For me, it means coming back to the part of myself that existed before the world told me who I should become.

The part that knows.

The part that feels.

The part that creates.

The part that does not need permission.

Living from essence does not mean life becomes perfect.

It means we stop abandoning ourselves.

We begin making choices from love instead of fear.

From trust instead of scarcity.

From alignment instead of obligation.

The Old Coding

We all have coding.

Some of it was created in childhood.
Some from society.
Some from workplaces.
Some from relationships.

The coding says:

“Be practical.”
“Don’t take risks.”
“Don’t disappoint people.”
“Work harder.”
“Your value comes from what you achieve.”

And for many years, that coding helped us survive.

But eventually, the same patterns that protected us can become the walls that limit us.

The question is not:

“Why am I like this?”

The deeper question is:

“Is this truly me… or is this something I learned?”

Awareness is the first layer we peel.

The Question That Changes Everything

For many years, I was very good at being who I was supposed to be.

The responsible one.
The achiever.
The one who could handle anything.
The one who kept going.

From the outside, everything looked fine.

But somewhere along the way, a quiet question started appearing:

“Who am I beneath all the roles I have learned to play?”

Not my job.
Not my achievements.
Not the expectations I carried.
Not the version of me that learned how to survive.

Who am I when I stop performing?

This is the beginning of peeling the layers.

The old programming.
The beliefs I inherited.
The invisible rules I accepted.
The ways I abandoned parts of myself to fit in.

And maybe midlife is not a crisis.

Maybe it is an invitation.

An invitation to return home to yourself.

To your essence.

If you answer YES to these 4 questions… this post is for you. ❤️

1. Do you mentally spend your commission before it has even landed in your bank account?

2. Does a cancelled sale or declined payment feel much bigger than "just business"?

3. Do you notice that after a disappointment, the next conversation or sales call feels heavier?

4. Have you ever felt that your peace, security, or future depends on one sale going through?

If you answered "yes" to any of these, you're not alone.

This week, I had a client say "yes."

The paperwork was signed. Everything was ready.

Then the payment was declined.

As I sat with my emotions instead of pushing them away, I realised something profound.

In commission-based businesses, it's so easy to emotionally count money before it's actually ours.

We plan the holiday.
We pay the mortgage.
We book the coaching.
We finally exhale.

Then, if the sale falls through, it doesn't just feel like a business setback.

It feels like something has been taken away.

Our nervous system experiences another disappointment.

And without even noticing, we carry that disappointment into the next opportunity.

As I reflected more deeply, I realised this pattern didn't start in my business.

When I was 15, my mother moved to another country after falling in love with another man. A year later, my father moved away to start a new chapter in his life. I felt like I had to become an adult overnight.

Looking back, I can see how I learned to attach my sense of safety to external circumstances.

Becoming aware of that has been one of the most important acts of self-leadership I've experienced this year.

My biggest takeaway?

A "yes" is not income.

A "yes" is potential.

Celebrate when the money lands.

Not because you're becoming less optimistic, but because your nervous system deserves to stay grounded in what is real—not in what you hope will happen.

The strongest women in business don't just build income.

They build an inner sense of safety that isn't shaken by every "yes," every "no," or every delay.

Because when a woman learns to regulate her nervous system, she doesn't just become a better entrepreneur—she becomes a freer human being.

That's the kind of woman I'm committed to becoming. And that's the kind of leader I strive to be for the women I mentor. ❤️

I want to be healthy and wealthy for her — for my daughter — and for the little girl inside me who once dreamed of exploring the Amazon rainforest, walking beneath towering emerald canopies, watching blue butterflies dance through the air, and living a life of adventure.

Our childhood dreams never truly disappear. We simply place them on the back burner.

And if we never act on them, they often return at the end of our lives as regrets.

"If only I had..."

But by then, it's too late.

After seven years in the online wellness industry, female empowerment coaching, and mentoring women through major life transitions, I've learned something profound:

No mentor, coach, program, or amount of support can create your freedom for you.

The decision has to come from within.

There comes a moment when you choose courage over fear.

When you stop waiting for certainty and start trusting yourself.

When you take the leap with faith — not because you have guarantees, but because you know that growth, opportunity, and life itself exist on the other side of fear.

You can continue living in survival mode — fight, flight, freeze, and endless hesitation.

Or you can decide that your dreams deserve a chance.

That your future self deserves more.

That the little girl inside you deserves to know what happens when she follows her heart.

I'm opening just two private 1:1 Freedom Life Coaching spaces for women who are ready to stop circling the same fears and start creating a life that feels aligned, abundant, and truly their own.

Apply only if you're serious about change.

Your future is built by the decisions you make today.

One of the biggest drivers of burnout is not stress itself.

It’s suppressed stress. You feel anger… but you swallow it.

You feel overwhelm… but you function anyway. You feel sadness… but you stay “strong”.
Because somewhere along the line, you learned:
It’s not appropriate.
It’s not nice.
It’s not allowed.

So you smile. You cope. You continue.

But the body doesn’t disappear feelings just because you ignore them. It stores them.

And over time, suppressed emotion becomes chronic stress.

That is when burnout, exhaustion, anxiety, and illness start to show up in the body.

Not because you are weak. Because your system is full.
I’m building health, peace, and freedom for my daughter — and for every midlife mother ready to stop surviving and start living.

Helping women create a slower, wealthier, healthier life from the inside out.
