A Fight for Life at 92 Age: The power of teamwork, compassion and Hope.

A 92-year-old gentleman arrived at SMAH with severe abdominal pain and multiple comorbidities. Our surgical team, led by Dr. Dhruba, Dr. Bhuju, and their team, successfully operated on him, discovering multiple terminal ileal perforations. With the dedicated support of our Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Anesthesia teams, he recovered without major complications and was discharged home.
He is now continuing regular OPD follow-up.
