It is important to recognise that the final appearance of the umbilicus following surgery is influenced by a number of factors, including the original anatomy, skin quality, and the way tissues heal.

While every effort is made during surgery to achieve the best possible aesthetic outcome, there are inherent limitations, and it is not always possible to completely change the natural characteristics of the umbilicus.

My aim during your procedure was to create a safe result and an overall balanced abdominal contour, while working with your existing anatomy as carefully as possible.
