Well overnight rain but it is clearing at the moment. It is bit windy and cool but we will try for our session today 27th October. Grass has been mown in the arena so hoepfully gumboots are not necessary!

Well it is obviously spring! Topsy was dollied up by Kimberley with very pretty daisies! Lukka does her usual spring hair dump to keep the birds happy. Katla hangs on to hers in case spring is cold!

It looks like a beautiful day, today 13th October, for the first session of Term 4 for Geraldine RDA. Sunscreen and hats amy be the order of the day!

Geraldine RDA is looking for volunteers to give two hours of their time on a Tuesday morning, from 10.30am–12.30pm.

This is during the school term only, and we go into recess over winter.

There is no pressure to join the committee, be involved in fundraising, or take on any additional responsibilities. This is simply about giving your time to lead the ponies or side-walk alongside the children during their sessions.

It’s a lovely way to support local children and be part of Geraldine RDA.

Overnigth rain but our request for a fine Tuesday for the last ride of the term has been granted. Blue skies appearing so (hopefully!) all go for riding today 22nd September. It might be a bit wet underfoot but we have a couple of hours drying!

Cold morning but fine and dry so ready for our first session back for Geraldine RDA, after the winter recess. Very hairy ponies are ready and I am sure volunteers and children (plus enthusiastic TA's!) are all set to go!

Well we did try but the weather did not co-operate with riding today. Geraldine RDA will now go into recess for the winter. As always, many thanks to our wonderful team of volunteers - we could nto run without you all! Also great support from local businesses and individuals (especially Aorangi Veterinary Services). Thank you to Jenni at Temuka Primary and Sarah at Geraldine Primary for selecting our lovely bunch of children to come along. Plus Donna, Jessica, Mandy (and sometimes Sue) for maintianing control over them all!

The forecast is not wonderful but it is not raining - AT THE MOMENT! So we will try for our riding session today 26th May. Bring warm clothes!
