**Fridays meet the team!** 💫
This week, we would like to introduce celebrant Lisa Koetze!
☕Coffee Order: Single shot oat latte
🎼Song that makes her smile: 'You Make My Dreams Come True' by Daryl Hall & John Oates
🐶Pets: Laila our dog who is a blue english staffy, and very much the biggest baby of our family.
🌴Dream Holiday: My dream holiday truly is not about a specific place, but about being surrounded by my family and closest friends. Whether it’s sunshine or snow, mountains or beaches, what matters most to me is the connection, laughter, adventure, relaxation, and happiness shared together. I believe fun can be found almost anywhere and that the best memories are created through the company you keep, rather than the destination itself.
❤️Favourite part of the job: My favourite part of this work is connecting with families and supporting them to find the unique and meaningful way that feels right for them to farewell their loved one. No person, family, or ceremony is ever the same, and I love helping people discover what that looks like for them, then bringing it to life in a way that supports a healthy and supported beginning to a journey of grief and bereavement.
👨🏫What advice would you give someone going through grief? I don’t know that there is one piece of advice that fits everyone, because no two people experience grief in the same way. But I do believe it is important to allow space for whatever feelings arise, and to be gentle and patient with the journey. Grief is not something to “fix” or rush through. Sometimes it is simply about enduring one moment at a time, finding comfort and joy in the small things where possible, and being surrounded by people who make you feel loved, supported, and safe.
