You trust your business partner with everything.

But have you talked about what happens to their shares if they die? 🤔

Most business partners never do. It is one of those conversations that keeps getting pushed down the list. Until it is too late to have it.

Shareholder protection insurance exists for exactly this reason. It means the surviving partner can buy out the shares, the family gets fair value, and the business keeps going.

What a night at Hastings Distillers this week. 😍

Fidelity Life hosted this event as part of their Women Shaping Life Insurance series, and it did not disappoint. Bronwyn Kerr (Chief Commercial Officer) and Seema Bangera (Chief Claims Officer) joined our local BDM Rachel Wilson to bring together women from across the Hawke’s Bay insurance industry to connect, share insights, and celebrate leadership.

The room was full of incredible women from Hastings and Napier, and the energy was exactly what you’d hope for when people who genuinely love this industry get together.

We also gave back. Everyone donated clothing and unused makeup, all going to Dress for Success to support local women on their employment journey. Small gesture, real impact.

Proud to be part of a community that shows up like this.
