Things are taking shape at Ocean Spa.

The latest video shows more of the groundwork coming together, with concrete being prepared and tiling progress starting to show across the site. It's one of those stages where the details matter, and every layer gets us closer to the finished result.

In the interim, we are happy to welcome back The Sauna Project Napier here at Ocean Spa next week for your sauna fix!

Monday 5pm - 8pm
Tuesday 6am - 9am
Wednesday 11am - 2pm

You never forget a perfect poached egg.

Smashed avo, fresh tomato, creamy feta, basil, lemon vinaigrette - all on balsamic glazed, toasted ciabatta. And yes, the eggs are exactly as good as they look.

Light enough to feel good about, filling enough to actually keep you going (especially for post-workout refuelling).

It's one of the most loved things on our menu, and once you've had it oceanside at the The Bach Cafe you'll understand why people keep coming back time and time again.

Do you have 30 minutes today? That's all you need for this full body workout 🥵

You don't need equipment, just a timer and probably a towel!

It works by doing each exercise for 40 seconds, followed by 20 seconds of rest. Repeat the circuit twice and you're done.

Save this for later, but make it your workout. Push where you can, pull back where you need to. 30 seconds rest instead of 20? Take it. One circuit instead of two? That counts too.

And if you ever want to do it with an ocean view? Our gym floor looks out over the Pacific and once you've trained with that backdrop, we know you'll want to come back for more!

Napier kids have been splashing on this exact spot since 1918.

The Swan Memorial Pool Shelter was built right here on Marine Parade as a tribute to George Henry Swan - the mayor who dreamed up Napier's iconic seaside promenade and made it happen.

The paddling pool beside it became the place families gathered, laughed, and spent their weekends in the Hawke's Bay sunshine we know and love today.

When Ocean Spa opened in 2003, the shelter was restored and brought back into the heart of the complex, because some things belong exactly where they are.

More than 100 years since those first kids jumped in, our community is still here doing the same thing. Just with better facilities and a lot more hot pools.

Marine Parade has always been Napier's gathering place and we're proud to be part of that.
