Did you know that deep squats (sometimes called a resting squat, not the squats commonly used in gyms) are amazing for the body 👏

They can help improve:
✨ Hip & ankle mobility
✨ Balance & posture
✨ Leg & core strength
✨ Flexibility from too much sitting

If you’re new to deep squats and what to give them a try (you won't regret it), start by holding onto something stable and hinging back into the squat for support, you need to go deep. Another option is to begin on your toes and gently work on lowering your heels toward the ground over time 🙌

This natural position has been used in many cultures for generations and is a great reminder that movement doesn’t always need to be complicated 💛

Moving your body a little every day is so important for your health and wellbeing. Whether it’s going for a walk, stretching your muscles, sitting on the floor, running around with your children, copying your children's movements, or trying something new like Pilates — it all counts.

Keep moving to stay healthy, fit, strong, and able to enjoy life to the fullest. 💛
