From 1 February 2026, some people in Aotearoa may be able to receive prescriptions lasting up to 12 months for long-term stable health conditions.

What you need to know:
🧑‍⚕️ Your doctor will help decide what is right for you
💊 You’ll still collect your medication from us every 3 months
💛 It is designed to make long-term meds easier

Not everyone will be eligible, but it is a step towards simpler healthcare!

Have a chat to your healthcare provider or come into the pharmacy to see if a 12 month prescription could apply to you ☺️
