Today we officially opened our latest promotion, an amazing cartoon of our very own Local Inventor, RICHARD PEARSE, unveiled by Chairman Kerry Hanifin and Bob Darroch.

Museums should be fun and allow people to make happy memories both for the younger and older generations.

The cartoon was created for us by another amazing local Bob Darroch, who has Richard Pearse flying in his plane at Waitohi. 31 March 1903.

Johnny Taylor from All About Signs printed and set out our images.

Hamish Moss from In-line Engineering designed, made up framing and installed this and the images, with Ian S Moss painting frame and assisting with the installation.

Come on down to museum each Sunday 1.30 to 3.30 and take a photo with Richard Pearse and share it on our page.
