πWHO TAKES CARE OF THE HEALTH WORKERS?
π₯Behind every health worker who cares for others is a person who also needs rest, understanding, and care. They dedicate their time, energy, and compassion to serving the community, but sometimes, they forget to take a moment for themselves. Because even those who heal others need time to heal, recharge, and breathe.
Recognizing the importance of mental well-being, the Local Government Unit of Makilala, through the Rural Health Unit of Makilala, successfully celebrated World Mental Health Day on October 27, 2026, at the Rural Health Unit of Makilala, with the theme βTake a Break: Pause, Recharge, and Thrive.β
The activity was participated in by frontline health workers and staff of the Rural Health Unit, who are dedicated and committed to delivering essential health services to the community.
Health workers are often the ones who remind us to rest, recover, and stay healthy. Today, let us remind them of the same. Taking a break is not a sign of weakness, nor is it a waste of time. It is an essential step toward becoming healthier, stronger, and more resilient.
Let us be reminded that caring for others begins with caring for ourselvesπ€π«
