Periorbital rejuvenation is rarely about the eyelids alone.

Ageing around the eyes can involve brow descent, upper eyelid hooding, lower eyelid bags, tear-trough changes, and midface descent. In selected patients, combining brow lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, and midface lift can address these changes as one anatomical unit.

This before-and-after result demonstrates a more open upper eyelid, reduced lower eyelid heaviness, improved brow position, and a smoother transition from the lower eyelid into the cheek.

The aim is not to change the eyes.

It is to restore a fresher, lighter, more rested periorbital appearance while preserving the patient’s natural identity.

Rhinoplasty before and after: profile refinement with preservation of natural facial harmony.

Rhinoplasty is not simply about making the nose smaller. The objective is to improve nasal shape, projection, dorsal contour, tip definition, and overall facial balance while maintaining a result that belongs naturally to the patient’s face.

This case demonstrates the change in profile immediately after surgery. The postoperative photograph represents an early healing stage, so swelling is still present and the final nasal definition will continue to evolve over the following months.

A successful rhinoplasty should not create a standardised nose. It should respect the patient’s anatomy, proportions, skin thickness, structural support, and functional requirements.

Refined profile. Better balance. Natural harmony.

Does a facelift improve the neck too?

In many patients, facial ageing and neck ageing occur together. Jowls, loss of jawline definition, loose neck skin, platysmal banding, and submental fullness can all contribute to an older facial appearance.

A modern facelift with neck lift can address the lower face and neck as a continuous anatomical unit, improving:

• Jawline definition
• Jowls and lower facial descent
• Loose neck tissues
• Cervicomental contour
• Overall facial harmony

Not every facelift requires the same degree of neck surgery. The operative plan depends on your anatomy, skin laxity, platysma, fat distribution, and the changes you want to improve.

The objective is not a tight neck or an over-pulled face. It is a cleaner jawline, smoother neck contour, and natural rejuvenation.

Watch the full reel to understand when a facelift alone is enough and when a neck lift should be added.

Opioid-free recovery after aesthetic surgery is becoming an important conversation in modern plastic surgery.

For selected patients undergoing procedures such as breast surgery, abdominoplasty, or liposuction, recovery may be planned with a multimodal pain-control approach that reduces or avoids routine opioid use.

This does not mean “no pain.”
It means pain control is planned more intelligently.

A safe recovery plan may include careful surgical technique, local anesthetic strategies, non-opioid medicines, proper compression, early mobilization, and close follow-up.

The key message is simple:

Better recovery is not only about the operation.
It is also about how pain, swelling, movement, and aftercare are managed after surgery.

Can previous HIFU, microfocused ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments matter when you undergo a facelift years later?

A recent review in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal highlights an important issue: energy-based facial treatments may produce fibrosis and tissue changes beneath the skin. These changes may still be relevant when a surgeon later performs a deep-plane or revision facelift.

This does not mean that HIFU or radiofrequency prevents facelift surgery. It means your surgical history should include more than previous operations.

If you have had HIFU, ultrasound tightening, radiofrequency microneedling or similar procedures, tell your surgeon:

• what treatment you had
• where it was performed
• how many sessions you received
• approximately when it was done

That information may be important for operative planning.

Previous nonsurgical treatments can still matter years later.

Ageing is not limited to the face. The hands often reveal volume loss early, with more visible tendons, veins and intermetacarpal hollowing.

In selected patients, hand rejuvenation with fat grafting can restore soft-tissue volume over the dorsum of the hand using the patient’s own fat. The aim is a smoother contour and a more youthful appearance without making the hand look overfilled.

In this case, the change is most evident at 3 months, when the early postoperative swelling has settled and the dorsal contour appears softer and fuller.

The patient’s own words:
“I’m very happy, the hand procedure has taken years off! 10/10.”

Natural volume restoration.
Softer contours.
A more youthful dorsum.

These rhinoplasty before and after views show how subtle structural refinement can improve the nasal profile while preserving a natural appearance.

In selected patients, rhinoplasty is not about creating an artificial nose. It is about improving shape, balance, definition, and facial harmony in a way that fits the individual face.

This post highlights two independent before and after rhinoplasty collages, each demonstrating profile refinement and a smoother, more balanced nasal contour.

The goal is simple:
better proportion, natural-looking results, and improved facial harmony.

If people keep asking whether you are tired, even when you are not, the issue may not be sleep alone.

Heavy upper eyelids, skin hooding, and lower eyelid bags can create a persistently tired, dull, or aged appearance. In selected patients, blepharoplasty may help by addressing excess upper eyelid skin and improving the contour around the eyes for a more refreshed look.

The goal is not to change the face.
The goal is to remove the tired look.

Watch the full reel to understand how eyelid ageing can affect facial expression and how treatment may help restore a fresher appearance.

A mid facelift is designed to address one of the earliest structural changes of facial ageing: descent of the cheek and midface tissues.

As the midface drops, the cheek can appear flatter, the nasolabial fold may deepen, and the transition between the lower eyelid and cheek can look heavier.

In appropriately selected patients, a mid facelift repositions these tissues upward, restoring support and improving facial contour without simply pulling the skin tighter.

The aim is not an exaggerated lift.

It is to restore the cheek to a more natural position, improve support through the midface, and soften the appearance of sagging while preserving facial identity.

Watch the full reel to see how midface repositioning changes facial contour.

Facelift recovery is not one event. It happens in stages.

In the first days after facelift surgery, swelling, bruising and a feeling of tightness are expected. These usually improve progressively as the tissues settle.

Many patients begin looking more socially presentable within 2 to 3 weeks, although residual swelling can persist beyond this. The face then continues to refine over the following weeks and months as deeper tissues heal and the final contours become more apparent.

Your exact recovery timeline depends on the extent of surgery, whether a neck lift or additional procedures were performed, tissue quality, age, healing response and your surgeon’s technique.

The important point is that the result seen at 1 week is not the final result.

Healing happens in stages.

Watch the full reel for a practical facelift recovery timeline and what to expect after surgery.
