Historically, when women were given the chance to train in medical professions, they naturally focused their care on women and children, either by choice or by necessity. For centuries, food preparation, childcare, and healthcare were predominantly held in the hands of women. We shared experiences about the deep complexities of our lifespans: menstruation, pregnancy, loss, postpartum, and menopause.
But as the modern pharmaceutical industry rose to dominance, much of this ancient, holistic herbal knowledge was oppressed, marginalized, and replaced.
The Modern Gap in Woman’s Health
Today, there is still a massive gap between conventional healthcare and the intuitive, natural practices that truly support a woman’s body. If you are a woman struggling with premenstrual symptoms, painful periods, endometriosis, infertility, or pelvic inflammation, you already know that the modern medical system rarely addresses the root cause.
There is a common misconception that working with plants is just an “esoteric art.” In reality, it is a precise, time-tested pharmacy designed to support our complex biology.
Reclaiming our body sovereignty is about more than just reawakening forgotten knowledge. It is about taking full responsibility for our own health and trusting what is most real: the immense wisdom of the plant kingdom.
This path gains its true depth and power when it is shared. By coming together as women to share our histories, studies, and experiences, we can begin to heal chronic imbalances that western medicine often deems unfixable.
Thank you this amazing group who joined The Woman’s Herbal course. Together, we are remembering, reclaiming, and healing. ✨
