It’s not Science OR Spirituality. It’s Science AND SPIRITUALITY 🤝

One of my absolute delights in life is seeing the intersection of science, spirituality and philosophy.

Yoga - with its philosophical backbone and spiritual path - has long held beliefs that have been difficult to explain with evidence (such as energy centres and energetic channels that are undetectable to the human eye).

But just this week, New Scientist reminded us of this fact - that we may not be seeing the true extent of reality - citing a report from a Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (which aims to understand better dark matter, dark energy and gravity) that our current model of the universe might be incomplete.

The reporter used an analogy from one of my favourite books Flatland (Edwin Abbott) where a 2D square is visited by a 3D sphere, leading him to realise he hasn’t been perceiving the full extent of reality.

It’s not that one system is better than the other. Instead, by using both approaches, it leads to a deeper, richer, more complete understanding of the universe we live in.

So come join me next week (lots of cover!) as we explore this theme of reality and perception 🙌🏼
