One team. One purpose. Fifty years of care.

This year's Annual Staff Meeting was especially meaningful as we celebrated R50, marking 50 years of care made possible by the dedication of our people.

Congratulations to all our colleagues who were recognised with the Best Service Team Award and the Chairman's Service Excellence Award, as well as those celebrating well-deserved promotions. Your dedication, professionalism and commitment to giving our patients our best continue to shape who we are and inspire us all.

As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to building on our legacy together and shaping the future for generations to come.

We were delighted to welcome student delegates from UCL Global Business School for Health to Raffles Hospital for an insightful visit to learn more about Raffles Medical Group, our integrated model of care, and our approach to healthy longevity and MediWellness through our newest facility, R17, dedicated to helping individuals improve their healthspan.

The delegates toured our hospital to see firsthand how our multi-disciplinary teams work together to deliver seamless, patient-centred care. The visit also included a discussion and Q&A session, providing an opportunity to exchange perspectives on integrated healthcare, healthy longevity and the future of healthcare innovation.

We wish all the delegates every success and look forward to the seeing the impact you will make to the future of healthcare!

Learning goes beyond the classroom.

During a two-day Learning Journey at Raffles Hospital, 15 Secondary 3 students from Swiss Cottage Secondary School gained firsthand insights into healthcare through sharing sessions by our Chief Nurse Lilian Yew, our Medical Social Work Department, and Inpatient Operations colleagues, learning about the importance of teamwork and the many career pathways in healthcare.

On the second day, students participated in hands-on first-aid workshops, where they learned essential basic cardiac life support techniques and how to respond to choking emergencies. They also toured various departments across the hospital, including our Specialist Clinics, Raffles Dental, and 24/7 Call Centre.

The programme concluded with an engaging fireside chat featuring Dr Tan Joo Peng, Aaron Raymond Lim and Sujata Soo, who shared their personal career journeys, leadership experiences and insights into working in healthcare.

It was heartening to see their curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the two days. We hope this Learning Journey has sparked a greater interest in healthcare and inspired them to pursue meaningful careers in the future.

This month's roll call was held at the Women's Centre & Fertility Centre, where Dr Kenneth Wu, Managing Director of Singapore Healthcare, reinforced three key commitments that guide the way we care for our patients and support one another:

πŸ’™ Deliver care with compassion
Every patient interaction is an opportunity to listen, understand, and provide reassurance. By placing patients at the centre of everything we do, we build trust and create a positive care experience.

🀝 Succeed together as one team
Excellent care is made possible through teamwork. By supporting one another, communicating openly and working collaboratively across disciplines, we can deliver seamless care and achieve the best outcomes for our patients.

✨ Create a positive and professional experience
Each of us plays a role in fostering a safe, welcoming and service-oriented environment. Taking ownership and continuously seeking ways to improve helps ensure every patient feels valued and cared for.

A special congratulations to our complimented staff members:
