In a world of social media, ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ ๐ was then created to inform the public and offer a range of services particular to Plastic Surgery specifically for the private sector. The lead surgeon for this team has studied at The University of The West Indies in Jamaica and received General Surgical Training in The United Kingdom gaining the Fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1999. The subsequent British Foundation in Plastic Surgery was firmly set over four intense years, and in the presence of intense competition from many international candidates applying to North America, the ๐๐๐ surgeon was given the opportunity to then secure an intense North American training post for the next 5 years to learn the full range of Plastic Surgery at the proper University Training Standard. When many colleagues then stayed in North America. Our surgeon returned home to offer these services to our people. The Lead surgeon has been the consultant for Plastic Surgery at the regional health authority in the south of our country, posted here in 2009 at the kind directive of the Government to cover the Oil belt and numerous industries that may have been affected by Burns. Fifteen years of experience has therefore been added to the depth of full structured trainingโฆ
However, in an environment of little regulation in the private sector, many patients have been exposed to
practitioners who have not received the five-year University training program in Plastic Surgery, and many patients expressed that they did not know such a surgeon was present in Trinidad and Tobago. ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ ๐ was therefore specifically created only to inform the people of what is available, to safeguard them. Patients are always free to see whoever they wish but we are also here and available to fix the growing list of corrective surgery needed when patients seek cheaper options. At CSI, we never turn anyone away, and wherever possible, we try our best to help patients who have run into trouble. However, not all outcomes can be corrected, or undone.

The Hallmark of our service is to create and maintain a good working relationship with each patient, and therefore, whilst not everyone is automatically entitled to surgery, a Careful selection ensures a team approach, and we pride ourselves in being gentle and considerate with all our patientsโ needs and concerns. Confidentiality is mandatory, and pictures are not posted openly, but once accepted for surgery, and only after expressed permission, pictures may be shared with you from a previous patient to show what their experience and outcome was like. Many patients appreciate this layer of confidentiality, and it is automatically given to you as part of your care with us. Access to the team post operatively with instructions and contact with the team for aftercare, is given with the knowledge and training to address risks and complications, should they arise.
