Tomorrow, The Sun in Libra shifts the focus toward relationships, fairness, and the choices we make with other people in mind. Where could better balance require a clearer sense of where you stand? Tell me in the comments.

As many of you know, I lived in Wales, my son was born there, and even then many of us were trying to address the peculiar habit of calling the Autumn Equinox “Mabon.” i remember realising it was wrong... having used it myself before (one of my Wiccan teachers used it and sometimes Modron as the name of the festival). I stopped using it without hesitation that day.

I have heard some extraordinary attempts to justify it. Apparently Mabon means “good mother.” It does not. Apparently it is pronounced “May-bonne.” It is not. Mabon ap Modron is a male figure from Welsh mythology, and his name was never the traditional Welsh name for an equinox festival.

The festival name was introduced into the modern Pagan calendar by an American writer in the 1970s. That does not make anyone foolish for having learnt or used it. Most of us inherit terminology without being told where it came from. But once we know better, surely we can do better.

Continuing to use Mabon as the name of the Autumn Equinox is not honouring Welsh tradition. It takes the name of a Welsh divine or heroic figure, mispronounces it, misrepresents it and attaches it to a festival with which it had no historical connection. It is disrespectful to the figure, the language and the culture.

Education alone does not seem to be changing things, so perhaps it is time to make the misnomer unfashionable. Let us make “I stopped calling it Mabon when I discovered a man made it up in the 1970s” the next great Pagan social-media trend.

Share a post. Make a reel. Tell the story in your own language. Be funny, factual and relentless. Let us fill every corner of Pagan social media with one very simple message:

It is the Autumn Equinox. It was never Mabon.

Chiron in Ta**us: What Happens When the Kingdom Refuses to Pay Its Debt

This is one of the biggest pieces I have written in a while, and it goes far beyond the usual “money and self-worth” interpretation of Ta**us. Chiron in Ta**us is bigger than an infographic or a 1500 word delineation article. The King of the Centaurs deserves more.

We begin in Westfall from World of Warcraft, move into Gary, Indiana, and then follow Chiron in Ta**us through land booms, bank failures, farm crises, deindustrialization, AI, tariffs, debt, housing, and the question underneath all of it:

What happens when people give their labor, bodies, loyalty, and futures to a system that later refuses to honor the debt?

Chiron in Ta**us is not just about money. It is about survival, dignity, work, land, food, shelter, and the broken promises beneath the material world.

Sometimes fantasy tells the truth before history admits it.

Chiron moves into Ta**us on June 19th

I’ll put the link in the comments.

Venus is the VIP again this week, and she did not come empty-handed.

The Astrology Forecast for June 15–21, 2026 asks one deliciously uncomfortable question: is it love, lust, or just excellent lighting?

We begin with fresh air, flirtation, and creative sparks as Venus sextiles Uranus. Then Venus trines Neptune, and suddenly the fantasy gets cinematic. But by midweek, Venus opposes Pluto Rx, and the receipts arrive. Desire intensifies, power games surface, and the harmless crush may suddenly come with a surveillance department.

By the weekend, the Moon in Virgo helps clean up the glitter, and the Sun enters Cancer, bringing the focus back to emotional truth, safety, and what you actually need beneath the performance.

This week’s assignment: enjoy the spark, question the obsession, protect your worth, and stop auditioning for affection.

Full forecast is in the comments.

Venus sextile Mars arrives on Tuesday with soft touch, real effort, and chemistry that can actually pay rent.

Where do you need desire to become devotion instead of drama? Drop it in the comments.
