Today is 988 Day, and during Su***de Prevention Month, the Village of Glendale Heights, the Glendale Heights Police Department and our friends at Nupage Communities are reminding Glendale Heights that help is available.

At the most recent Village Board Meeting, the Village Board signed a proclamation recognizing September as Su***de Prevention Month and the importance of increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and making sure people know where to turn when they need support. We also welcomed Nupage Communities to speak about su***de prevention and provide additional resources for our residents (https://youtu.be/_v5jvyRgY3Q?si=aLBdHVPPbFT0GmZ5&t=919)

The 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline provides free, confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our NuPAGE Police Social Workers had a great time out at National Night Out last night! 🚓💙

It was wonderful connecting with community members, sharing resources, and spending the evening alongside so many incredible local organizations dedicated to keeping our neighborhoods safe, healthy, and connected.

A huge thank you to all of the police departments and community partners who hosted such welcoming events. We appreciate the opportunity to meet so many families and be part of an evening that celebrates community!
