👏 A hero in the right place at the right time!

Congratulations to Keilee Elmer, R.N., an Emergency Department nurse at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena, on receiving the Good Samaritan Award!

While off duty, Keilee witnessed a man collapse outside a local supermarket and immediately jumped into action, performing CPR and assisting first responders with lifesaving efforts.

Thanks to Keilee’s quick thinking, training and the teamwork of EMS, ED and cath lab personnel, the man’s life was saved.
